I agree about Wade and Bosh. I also havea new disrespect for Maverick Carter. But from what I have seen, Lebron has been a mensch throughout. He hasn't said a damn thing and he has remained more or less respectful by keeping his mouth shut. He will make a decision soon, and the league will move forward.

He IS most definitely a diva, however.

i don't care... these guys can milk it for all its worth as far as i'm concerned... just as long as we end up with Lebron.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

What are you upset about? It's great theatre you're posting like crazy and we're all watching. These are young guys in the spot light making multi-million dollar decisions - of course they're divas.

all praises due to the free market?

this is a basic right of any person when you search for a job...

if you are desired by many workplaces then you negotiate the best possible deal for you...

the media doesn't have to cover it...but they do because people wanna know...

i don't blame the players for this, for the most part...

oh well...basketball has dropped off alot to me anyways, and this whole offseason has turned me off almost completely. i usually get league pass for TV but next season, i'm only going to get the cheapest online league pass option so i can just watch the raptors. lebron + wade + bosh can all be on one team and i wouldn't be the least bit curious to watch them.

No disrespect dj but you sound like a hypocrite and sore loser. Bosh is moving on from a team you jumped ship to. I don't see you remarking in the Yankee thread about how MLB has turned you off. I mean I'm Yankee fan and last year despite them winning was an embarrassment for me after what they did in the off-season. I don't even fight back critics anymore with the tired old "well they're playing by the rules" I never thought I say this before but MLB has nearly lost me and is desperate need of a salary cap. Their FAs are worst than anything I seen from these players. Nothing compared to the A-Rod and Boras tour of 2000 (remember the 24 and 1 tour) to tell you the truth. Talks about the Yankees adding Lee can't be a welcomed sight for you either then. This is a part of the process that all FAs go through in every sport. For whatever reason the media likes to focus more on the NBA player aspect of it then other players.

Well, that's enough of my rant but I wasn't going to allow another cheap shot.

how so? i said i was going to continue watching the raptors. i was never a huge bosh fan in the first place.

the one thing about baseball is that any team can win the whole thing. they yanks spending money basically guarantees them a spot in the post season but after that - it's whoever has the hottest pitchers. that doesn't usually happen in basketball as it is purely star driven.

but my feelings to baseball and my connection to the yankees are on a different level than my connection to basketball or what was once my connection to the knicks. and what turned me off this offseason was more the process and the ramifications in basketball. stars can sign with the yankees all they want but that doesn't guarantee a ring, as exhibited by the 1980's and from 01-09. but basketball is a different story. and the whole tweeting business and quotes by the players themselves as if they are owed something is more prevalent in the nba. from kobe's (trade bynum for kidd) to bosh's tweet about a person missing to wade's comments on the bulls management.

but just curious, what did you take as a cheap shot? and who was my supposed cheap shot directed to?

The sundown of Roman Empire replay.

So you headed back to Russia?

Russian empire already failed... for the same reasons.
This is not a place to go for anybody anymore.
The place is ruled by barbarians of different sorts and will eventually fall into anarchy and regress as Roman civilization did.

THis has been an incredible chess game to behold and Im for one and enjoying it! Wife and I listening to the radio and she could give two ****s and a phuck about it but can't believe the media frenzy this is.

Lebron is being asked to save Clevelenad like Superman was after his got laid and lost his powers! Weird.

I Congradulate the knicks on making the first move what appears to be Amare. They are over paying for him but Bosh is not taking the lead although he really was in control of it all. HE wants 6 year max money and thats his starting point. Over paying for AMare is not terrible as it causes others to react. Get it Briggy, its a chess game! Amare in NY and Bosh wants max money, which he can get but not with his trio in Miami. Tononto don't want Beas and they have given Bosh a list of what they want and he gotta play if he wants it. Cool!!!!! Wade realizes If bosh don't come to miami, and Amare now in NY, Its Him and Booze. OR him in Chicago and ROse becomes trade bait. Nalod thinks you can get can trade Deng and Rose for Paul. But in any event Lebron then is has to make a choice. Take the billion plus with Amare in NY or Save his town in Quarterfinals exit with Jamison and be happy in Cleveland?

THe Key is Bosh and what he wants. Knicks are forcing the pieces to react.

Of course we over pay for Amare.

But there are times you have to "lose the battle to win the war!"

I don't know if I can label it the most obnoxious. It's up there, though.

I still think the most obnoxious is baseball in 1994. The Yankees, after a pretty long drought, finally had a good team and were the best team in the AL, along with the Expos in the NL. It was going to be a fantasy for both cities, if those two teams made it. They were completely robbed on a championship by greedy owners and players and instead the fans got screwed. Having a strike that starts in the second half of the season is just evil. At least the Yankees made up for in a big way in the following years, but I still think of that one as the missing Yankees championship.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Bron has a army of agents managers, personal advisors and sponsers all talking for him..if he was to start leaking info it would make the whole enteerouge look stupid...Bosh has always been a self promoter...and wade has no slew of managers and big mouth agents. If anybody is to blame for the diva act its got to be the media outlets, who take every single thing they here and run with it..

buzz -> exposure -> money $$$

Thats it. This is not rocket science. These guys wants to be rock stars and run the NBA.

I dont have a problem with all of it. Its fueled and fed by all the twitter, twatter, and 10,000 websites covering this.

Its it about style over substance its because ESPN and people that soak it up made it so

I'm kind of perplexed, what has Lebron won on the court in the eastern conf to guarantee him a championship whom ever the team he goes to ? People in the league have watched him for 7 yrs and basically knows he's a one man wrecking crew, but in modern day basketball when has that won a NBA championship ?

Off the court the fame of his name is like Michael Jordan, but on the court he's charles Barkley in his prime when he led phoenix to the NBA title and lost, good but not good enough to will his team to a NBA finals championship.

Even KG & Paul Pierce realized they weren't winning by themselves.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
