The Knicks came away feeling good about their presentation to LeBron James on Thursday."I thought it went great," one Knicks' official told the New York Daily News. "Great."
Owner James Dolan attended the meeting and his willingness to pay the league's luxury tax, and track record of doing so, is certainly an asset in the chase to bring James to New York.
The owner is not going to be pleased if the team is unable to secure the top prize of this summer's free-agent class.
"Jim is the wild card," one league official said. "If LeBron doesn't come, Jim is not going to be happy. He's not going to be thinking about next year. He's going to be upset. Very upset."

I feel a lot better now that one of our guys used a word like tremendous.
Which is the "stronger" expression characterizing a meeting- "tremendous," or "great." Almost worthy of its own thread.
...And did our official say "front runner great?"
PS: A certain well known UK poster also posted a very similar thread on RealGM today about 2.5 hours ago.
