He only signed a 4 yr deal. Most centers in the NBA are overpaid. You have guys like Mohammed and Diop making more than Milicic on longer deals. I think 4 yrs for 20 million is great value for a decent center.

i tend to agree... seems like a bit much for a guy who just a few months ago was dead set on going to Europe for the rest of his career, but if he puts up numbers for Minny over the contract it could end up being a good value signing in the long run.

except it forces him to deal from a position of weakness in trying to get value for Al Jefferson who has 3yrs $52M on his deal

Darko keeps managing to keep people interested him by showing glimpes of greatness for the past 6 years

i'd say more like glimpses of competency.
