Minor changes to the Knicks uniform

According to a source, the Knicks have had internal discussions about making some minor changes to the uniform for the 2010-11 season.

It doesn’t sound like anything major is being planned, just a subtle tweak and update. The NBA would have to approve and Adidas, the league’s apparel outfitter, would also have to know with enough advanced warning.

Ah yes... hmm, haven't heard anything myself. I wonder what it would be... changing the shape of the side panels maybe?

I think when they do these throwback nights, they should go all in: leather belts, Pro-Keds, no Under Armour pads & compression sleeves, and of course Stockton shorts: see who can really do it old school.

What are "Stockton Shorts?"

Looks like I'd better make 16 more posts today, just to stay synchronized.

Mhmmm... misterearl + BasketballJones = MisterJones (or BasketballEarl). Hmm, suspicious.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Uniform shorts at their pre-Jordan pre-baggy length. John Stockton was probably the last player in the league who didn't switch to the longer versions.

Oh okay. So you want to see a bunch of men in short-shorts. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Knicks Design

Tha Lakers have chnged the collar of their jerseys to a more modern cut. Basketball players would benefit from a higher collar with wicking properties to handle extra perspiration

as basketball players are larger and withstand collisions each night, it would seem that some type of vest padding would be essential

never liked the trim of the shorts side panels

the design seems bulky and less in tune with giving a streamlined appearance

the belting finish if the Allan Houston/Spree shorts was on the right track

once a knick always a knick
