If Walker could hold down the shooting guard position it would provide stability at a position the Knicks have struggled with since the healthy days of Allan Houston. At 6'7 he brings length, a dependabe outside shot and the ability to finish in heavy traffic. He understands the angles and can make adjustments on defense

The reported weight loss is good news. I look forward to seeing how much work he invests over the summer. Forget Joe Johnson.

Danilo Gallinari will be an All Star by 2012

that's two I can live with

+1 to both points. Walker is our 2, Gallo will be a star (along the lines of Dirk, with a HUGE CAPITAL "D").

Mister Bill: Attitude Problem

"He did some nice things. I wish I could shove his aggression into Chandler. He also does some dumb things: He can be a hot head and it leads to just silly purposeful fouls and flagrants."

cosmic - every player who is new to the league will do dumb things. Some dumber than others. Driving without insurance is dumb. I really am struggling to fin the documentation of the extra ordinary dumb things that Bill Walker brought to his late season cameo with the knicks

For a player with only a handful of NBA games Walker displayed a willingness to conform to the offense and picked his spots without disrupting the flow. He was aggressive on defense, and like many new players, he must learn the refs

Flagrant fouls?

I need better evidence than what you arbitrarily describe in negative terms. I had an enjoyable conversation with Charles Oakley during game 6 of the Lakers Celtics. Oak was clear about guys driving to the hoop with weak resistance. He said "no layups". Case closed.

Bill Walker is a virtual rookie and only needs to regain his health and the trust of his running mates

Yes... a lesson we all need to learn.
