i think it was worth the risk. right now i'm saying that without knowing what happens.

i don't think donnie has handled this anti-NY spin that's been coming out lately very well. seems like the spin is coming from maverick carter and it's no good for our chances if maverick doesn't want the knicks.

i'll wait to see what they do, but i do not believe jordan hill was changing our fortunes at all. it's worth the risk to take a big swing and try to build something.

would i have rather drafted stephen curry and anthony randolph and had young guys to root for and watch their whole career? yes.

Jordan Hill's got nothing to do with this, it's the mentality of giving up future assets & draft picks on nothing but a hope & a prayer that i don't like... if Donnie knew Lebron & Bosh were coming here all along then it was a brilliant move on his part, but how on earth can you justify going all in like this based on nothing but pure speculation that these guys would choose us over everyone else, some of whom could offer him a much better situation for him to win with? as far as we've heard from Lebron's lips, the prospect of winning has always been at the forefront in his thinking & will likely determine where he ends up choosing to go to this summer... what kind of hopes of winning does NY have to sell Lebron on when this team couldn't even get into the playoffs in a weak Eastern Conference for the past 6 years? we're gonna use the "trust us, you're gonna like it here" pitch to lure him here?

you would have preferred if we'd drafted Curry & Anthony Randolph, but you're OK with giving up future potential lottery picks to go the other route? what, we can't get talent like Curry & Randolph with future picks?
