It's highly unlikely such a trade would take place, so let's try to stay in the realm of what is reasonable. The thing is that if Lebron and Rose played together they'd likely win a lot of games, but that's not what the argument is about. The argument is about what is the BEST situation for Lebron. Just cuz guys can make it work, that's not the same as being tailor made for each other. When it comes to the playoffs and the better teams are playing and teams have loads of time to prep, that pairing would be effected by the fact that teams will want to force them to take jumpers. Just look at what happened to Lebron. His team couldn't do it when he was forced to take jumpers or pass to his teammates who couldn't knock them down. The Bulls have no real deep threats. Everything they do is in the paint or just outside of that. Good defensive teams will pack it in on them and force them to beat them with jumpers.

i can understand some panic tho. years of poor play and terrible management have lead up to this summer of love. but if they don't get the love, then what's on the horizon? some folks may need to convert to hinduism so they can get another shot at it :)

Each team has its own positives and negatives. I think Rose and Lebron would figure it out, just like I think if Lebron came here he would figure it out. Good players learn to play together with there teammates. I think we are at a disadvantage in terms of personnel, but we have an owner with deep pockets and a somewhat competent GM, and we have a blank slate. It is all a crap shoot at this point, so I am not going to bother guessing at it anymore. At least this will all be over within the next two weeks.

I would be very surprised If bron went to chi-town. From the very beginning it always has been and still is new York vs. Cleveland. Chicago was added by the media to make things sound more interesting.
Masgov once ran a marathon backwards to see what second place looked like...

I think Chicago is legit and maybe is the favorite right now, but I also think NY is right in there and they haven't had a chance to show their hand yet. I think there is a lot that can unfold once July 1st gets here and they can make a deal happen. I can imagine DW going to the Bron mtg with a new chip to show off. NY is still very much in play.
