I hear you but I think it is a lot like Pippen and Jordan back in the day. Both had similar skill sets. Jordan was just an alpha dog and Pippin wasn't. So it worked. I can see similarities in a James-Johnson pairing.
Although I have to admit. I think I want Wade over James because he has that killer instinct. LBJ doesn't have that yet, IMO.
The killer instinct - I agree with you 100%. That is what made MJ so good, and is why Kobe wins so many rings; and Bird; and in earlier days, why Bill Russell's teams always beat Wilt's even tho Wilt had better personal stats than Russell.
If JJ and LBJ, you still need inside D and rebounding. A Dennis Rodman type. We don't have that.
