His numbers were subpar (he showed noticible regression from his junior year and definitely took a step backward as a senior) not to mention that Razorback team was terrible this season...I just can't believe the lack of focus, aggressiveness, creativity & talent evaluation along with the willingness to sit on their hands and do next to nothing during one of the most crucial periods in this team's history. MONUMENTALLY DISAPPOINTING...I mean seriously, I don't know what to F-in say dudes...I'm at a complete loss. They are not operating like a team that wants to pull itself out of the huge hole they're in..I had a plan mapped out in my mind on how they should proceed this off-season and they haven't even come close to it in any way, shape or form yet....Now hearing that they may not have traded into the first round because they want to conserve the money to "make a respectable offer to Earl Barron." Are you kidding me?!?! Earl Barron did OK for us last year but he's absolutely the last thing we should be thinking about right now. This dude wasn't even the best big in the d-league last year that we could've called up at the time...This team just never does the right things to help themselves improve..It's embarrassing how poorly run we are, soup to nuts...Man I'm heartbroken so far.

Many think the owner of the knicks wants to turn things around from the Isiah era...I think not !

I do believe he wants to get back some of the money he lost from the Isiah era , BUT THAT'S ABOUT IT !

The moves shows their is a pattern to keep lowering the expectations of this franchise year after year.

Fans are in denial, they thinks these moves are so great when there is no clear sign we want talent that will win instead of the right type of players the coach can get along with.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

The Knicks did have him in for a work out. Here is draftnets report on him. It was from 9/09.

NBA Comparison: Clifford Rozier

Strengths: Four-man with a bevy of talents ... Has long arms (7-foot plus wingspan) and plays with a lot of energy ... An absolute vacuum cleaner on the boards as he is willing to sacrifice his body at all times and shows a high level of desire (9.8 rpg as a junior) ... Smooth offensive game with the ability to score around the basket as well as face up and knock down mid-range jumpers ... Has a nifty right handed hook shot ... Does an excellent job of creating a big target and fighting for post position making it easy for guards to find him in excellent scoring position ... Shows the ability to face the basket and create offense for himself ... His excellent leg strength allows him to power through opponents around the rim and convert two handed dunks through contact ... Very agile and his excellent speed in the open floor allows him to beat opponents down the court for easy baskets ... Has great foot speed which allows him to get by players for easy back door cuts and ally oops as well as blow by slower big men on the perimeter off the dribble ... Strong finishing ability off of drives as he shows the ability to go left or right and convert finger rolls off the glass ... Shows excellent hands grabbing in bound passes and boards with ease ... Shows good vision and passing ability ... Deceptively athletic ...

Weaknesses: At times, his confidence in himself gets him in trouble as he often is too enamored with the 3 point shot. While he shows good form and potential as a perimeter shooter, he needs to improve there to justify taking the number of shots he does (17%, 5-30 3pt fg) ... Appears to be a guy hat could considerably improve his body with better workout and diet habits ... Gets a little out of control at times and is a bit careless with the ball on passes ... Upper body strength needs work ... A year old for a senior (turns 23 in October) ... Needs to work on his free throw shooting, (60%) ...

Donnie is just a TERRIBLE general manager. Face the facts. He's had god awful drafts since he got here and his whole reputation is based on Reggie Miller and Rick Smits.

They need to get Mullin or Pritchard in here in a hurry as soon as these FA's are signed.

Any experienced poster on this board can make more educated decisions than whoever is in charge in the Knicks offices. Its really sad.
Randle is a player I've been on for a couple of years and would seem to fit the offense perfectly. Collins is a guy who you'd think we could find a spot for with all of our open roster space.

It looks like the Wizards are making some strong moves all of the sudden. If they really blow the team up, then those SL guys might pay off.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Not sure if anyone posted this but Jaycee Carrol is also on the summer league squad.

Strengths: One of the top pure shooters in the college game ... Has the ability to spot up and shoot with tremendous range ... Also shows a solid ability to score off the bounce creating offense for himself against quality defenders ... Very competitive and clutch player ... An underrated athlete, can get up and dunk when the occasion arises, although he's never going to be confused with a physical freak ... His age is more of a negative than positive, but at 24 years of age, teams appreciate the fact that he's emotionally mature and more "NBA ready" than the average draftee ... Hard worker who keeps himself in tremendous physical condition (averaged 36 min per game as a junior) ... 88% free throw shooter is truly at an elite level ... Really hustles and fights for rebounds, leading the entire team at 6.3 rpg as a junior ...

Weaknesses: Size creates a big hurdle for him ... Strictly a 2-guard, he lacks any real point guard skills despite solid passing and ball handling ability ... At 6-2, it's hard to imagine him as more than a role shooter on the NBA level ... His size will obviously create match up problems at the 2-guard position as the average 6-6 SG on the NBA level will be able to exploit him shooting over him or posting him up ... He'll be 25 on draft day having gone on a 2 year Mormon Mission. While he's not seen as an athletic freak with physical attributes left to develop, his age suggests he has less upside left to tap ... At 175 pounds, he lacks a great NBA body, adding some strength would be a plus but it's unlikely he can add much at his age ...

Outlook: Carroll figures to become the Aggies all time leading scorer in his senior year ... Suffers playing the the WAC as his exposure and competition level is lacking. Some coaches and scouts feel he would get "JJ Redick type hype" if he played for a high profile program such as Duke ... Carroll's skill level gives him a great chance to have a career in professional basketball whether it be in the NBA as a role player or overseas ...
