Given the number of relationships Jalen Rose has in the league, both with players and coaches (he also has a relationship with world wide wes, of course so do a million others) id doubt he couldn't do better than a guy like Chris Broussard, not to mention if Broussard heard that he'd report it himself anyway

I wouldn't put 100% stock in any source, because sometimes "sources" have ulterior motives for disseminating the information they do. Even if he heard this from a legit source its possible the source misled him for their own reasons. But i don't doubt Jalen Rose heard this from someone who he feels "would know"

According to a source, representatives of LeBron James have denied the report from Jalen Rose on Wednesday which claimed that James was almost certain to leave the Cavaliers.

James' representatives insisted that no decision of any sort has been made and stated that the report from Rose is inaccurate.

Well, Knicks basketball has been dead for the last decade. What do you think is going to happen if LeBron James is winning championships in Chicago and we continue to stink? So without King James, Wade and Bosh, who is left? Can't say I feel too confident about signing Amare Stoudemire after his beef with Mike D'Antoni. It really just leaves Johnson, David Lee, Carlos Boozer and Rudy Gay. I don't see how we're going to build a title contender with that group of players.

- Chris Bosh is slated to appear tomorrow on "Mike and Mike", has been in the NY and conn. area past couple days, will be in-studio in bristol tomorrow
- Jalen Rose works for ESPN, was a former teammate of Chris Bosh his first 2 years in the league. Good chance they've spoken in the last couple of days because Bosh and Rose's duties tomorrow will both find them in the same building, heck Bosh may even have been phsycially there today

Chances Rose got this stuff from Chris Bosh? Maybe his old teammate doing him a solid and allowing him to break something? This is of course assuming Bosh has an idea about LeBron's intentions and has spoken at some point with him in the last couple of years about the possibilities of their FA (which is probably a good assumption, i can't imagine these players have never talked amongst themselves at some point, as if they are really going to make these life and league altering decisions in 2-3 days at the start of July, based on a visit or something). There has also been talk in the past week about Cleveland contacting toronto about bosh in a potential sign and trade, which of course would need Bosh's consent. Its possible Bosh very recently got wind of James intentions somehow or another because that would obviously have been key in a decision either way. Rose seems to be 100% sure that his sources here would know LeBrons intentions. If I were him id consider a guy like Bosh a good source here

Totally speculative, but i just find it an odd coincidence that Rose comes out with this today
