![]() DJMUSIC wrote:This kid has some hops I heard about him but havent really seen him play too much He can barely get off the ground. Not to pick his game apart but he is a terrible shooter, nonathletic two guard who takes horrible shot after horrible shot. He succeeded on the HS level because his frame was massive compared to other kids. He was able to bulldoze them around. He has a NBA body but not the athleticism to translate well at the next level. I expect that his shot will get block early and often. His game is similar to Ron Artest but he isn't as consistent as he was coming out of SJU. And he is as nearly as savvy with the game either. I don't like to play bad rookies , I like to play good rookies - Mike D'Antoni

Lance Stephenson has more hops than Tyreke Evans. I see him as Larry Hughs athletically. He isnt going to blow you away but he will take you out of your shoes with his handle. Some seem to forget how great handle is underrated. NY Knicks - Retirement home for players and GMs

I agree with both of you. He reminds me of Mitch Richmond physically but with a Antoine walker handle...don't sleep cuz Antoine walker could handle like a guard and Mitch Richmond could not jump for ****. ![]() He is a great pick if the Knicks can get him when they are picking. He is only a second round pick so I think you go for upside and this kid has it. Hopefully D'Antoni plays and coaches the rooks some next year.

He was a guy who had some really good moments who showed he could score rebound pass and play within a system. Now you have to look at him and say what is this kid with two more years of school with a much improved jumper? Probably a lottery pick Too bad the Knicks missed the boat. RIP Crushalot😞

![]() He could never be a community pick, he doesn't fit the profile.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

![]() Stephenson has talent, but he is a ball dominant guard. If he isn't good enough to be the go to guy in the offense (on a Brandon Roy level)then its going to result in a lot of one one one iso play ala Jamal Crawford. Which is what you don't want from your 3rd or 4th best option.
He would be perfect off the bench as the go to guy/playmaker for a teams 2nd unit ala Jamal Crawford for a team. Can't just acquire talent ignore everything else and then hope it fits or works, gotta have a plan in place. https://vote.nba.com/en Vote for your Knicks.
