What's up with all these outside issues being given to what is basically a man and his family choosing what's best for them. But I have to admit thinking about nyk scratching his ass in the waking hour may impact my decision somewhat.

No impact, other than the fact that he will now want to win at least 5 chips, 7 if he wants to out-win MJ. It ups the ante by one chip.

I think Kobe winning a championship has more bearing on Shaq than LeBron. But lets face it LeBron has to get it together and start making a contribution in the championship dept. LeBRon has to pick a destination where favors are done on a regular basis. Kobe is a primary example of a player receiving gifts.

Not sure where you came up with that but its just not true.

It's halfway true: The Knicks are the only team that can SIGN both outright. Other teams (e.g., Chitown, Heat) would have to swing a S&T that the raptors would want.

Do you mean Miami if Wade leaves or is renounced?

Miami can dump Beasley for a 2nd rd pick and be right there.

The NETS can make some trades and be right there.

Chicago can s-n-t with Toronto for Bosh, then go sign LeBron

A lot can happen between now and July 8th.

LeBron James is not going to Miami or New Jersey. They are not options. And Toronto isn't going to accept Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich for Chris Bosh.

Bosh could sign with Miami to play with Wade (assuming Wade stays) and that would hurt us in getting Lebron.

Except that Wade and the Heat intend to sign Amare. It's as good as done from what I have heard/read.

Good....I'd rather not sign Amare to a 5 year deal because of pssible health issues. But I also would rather have him in the West. Miami becomes an instant contender. I'd definitely take LeBron and Bosh at this point. Both are young and healthy.
