lol

Lo Lieh "Oh its you ! "

Well in kungfucinema we say Marbury acquisition was briefly celebrated cause of his brooklyn ny roots
and coming back home as well as Stephon happiness to be a Knicks. Soon later we all seen as knicks
fans how selfish and destructive Marbury can be on a team, self professed conceit that he was best
PG in NBA although I'd admit all of Knicks problems in building a winner wasnt solely Marbury's fault
but Stephon ruined his relationship with his NY fans supporters and teammates.

Marbs NBA career went into toilet since he was "Me first " attitude rarely looked in mirror at himself at what he can do to improve Knicks fortunes. Anyhow he is part of bad history as Knick
He made lots of money $$$ and never got better as a player and more importantly a person.

As far as Big ole' Eddy Curry Knicks needed a Center but you dont sell your entire estate $$$ in terms
of long term trade picks to get the unproved Curry only a few yrs in the NBA. Neither Eddy or Stephon
was worthy of entire values given up in deals which we seen in 2008-2010 NBA future draftees to this date part of the horrid Curry and Marbury deals Isiah Thomas did.

If you're Isiah Thomas and going to fall in love with NBA players and fork over the store then you'd
better be sure you are trading for NBA stars or allstar type players. Even Marbury's contract and its length was absurd which also included the horrible Penny 'shot' Hardaway contract.

Knicks went into a tailspin from those major deals and minor deals Isiah Thomas did with all the power
he had to pull strings and put the knicks into the gutter. That is fact

That said, how is it that there was such a large disconnect between the type of talent Zeke was able to draft, and the type of talent he traded for or signed? And how did he play for the "Bad Boys" yet he was bringing in softies like Maurice Taylor and Eddy Curry?

Good questions about his trade failures, Seb. He obviously had a pretty good eye for draft talent. But as to reporters having a grudge, I think they should. I hate the guy and think he deserves to be raped by the press. He is the very definition of professional failure and loser. Add to that a heaping load of BS, misogyny, and general ahole-ness, and you have the makings of a pariah.

Yeah, I agree for the most part, although I think that reporters collective grudge stems from his comments about Larry Bird, which was like 100 years ago, more than anything else.

But its just funny because whenever anyone tries to apply even the slightest balance to Isiah's run here (like the Brussard video), his haters just freak out. If you say anything even remotely positive --- and I mean remotely positive, like he was a good drafter or anything like that, the Zeke haters rush in painting people as diehard supporters.

He failed. I just dont have blind hate for him like ya'll do.

I don't see where the blind hate is. He didn't just fail, he was awful.

As for the drafting, I've said it in the past I felt his drafting wasn't great, it was passable; I would've given it something like a C, much predicated on how badly he missed with the Channing Frye pick. Then the lovers are actually the ones who rush in and freak out for not "admitting" that it's an A. I just don't see how you can claim such a view when you're doing the same thing that you're complaining about.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

how am I doing the same thing? I've said repeatedly he was a bad GM and he deserved to go. Same with Layden. WTF?

I mean the Brussard video is classic. He didnt even say anything that positive about Isiah, just that he inherited a bad situation and he isnt the only one to blame for the Knicks woes the past 10 years. That didnt stop cats from flying in claiming he is some sort of Isiah supporter, because he didnt call him the worst GM ever or whatever it is ya'll are looking for.

You guys passionately hate him. I dont. Its the past and I'm more concerned about the present.

See there you go with this lover shyt. He did miss with Frye. That said, Frye is a productive player on a good team, so he didnt miss that bad. Frye is not a bust at all. It was an okay pick.

But if you think that a guy that drafted players like Lee, Nate, Chandler, and Ariza with low picks deserves a C, then that speaks to you. Zeke's only bad miss was Rondo in '06.

Well, from my point of view, when anyone says anything that you feel is "unfairly" critical of Isiah, you totally swoop in to the defense. How do you not see that being the exact same thing? In the past, there was a group of people who did the same; maybe they are not around anymore, I don't know.

As for the Brussard video, to be honest, I didn't bother watching it, because I don't care anymore. Anything that can be said about Isiah has been said countless times. I hate what Isiah did to the Knicks, but there's no point in indulging it repeatedly.

Okay, now, family this is the second time you've repeated that shyt and the first time I let it pass. I'm praying you're a 13 year old broad with Justin Beiber pictures all over your room, because there aint no way in hell a grown man is supposed to be this emotional.

Real talk, when I said that line initially, I was just trying to help you out. You're flooding the board with these long ass, title threads about retarded shyt like: HEY GUYS! I dont like Paul Pierce! HEY GUYS! We shouldnt get Lebron James, lets focus on two draft picks! HEY GUYS, Wade doesnt have the guts to sign here! This is all followed by barely comprehensible posts that either get laughed at or ignored.

Get over it, AND STOP following me around like a lonely fat bytch in the club. Get your mind right and keep it moving. It was constructive criticism.

That is not nice to woman and ladies

No I do not follow anyone around & no you're not trying to help me son.
I am a grown man, family 3 kids happily married, educated/college just like everyone else up here
on the forum board. The admins will delete a post or send me a message I understand.

What I don't understand is any insults sent to me regarding retarded posts or everything said about
the NY Knicks. This is a forum and I am certainly not a writer or devoid from mistakes here.
No one is perfect here but no reason to barrel plenty of insults outward which you seem to do very
very well.

Moving on.. Enjoy

I thought Isiah did a great job of putting together a very entertaining squad. It is true that most of the entertainment was off the court, and ocurred during the off-season, but that's a minor point.
