Hedo is old and no longer that good. We can get a more useful player (or players) in a trade for that large of an expiring deal.

If you could make a trade of Lee and Curry for Bosh and Turgkolu, I probably would do it. Turgkolu would give us anotehr ball handler and shooter, which this offense needs. His presence would also make it easier to do a sign and trade for Lebron, if one was needed.

You would have to make this trade because you're getting Bosh. If this were to happen, you think we could pull off a lineup of Bosh, Lebron, Gallo, Hedu, and Chandler? 5 forwards but lebron and hedu can both handle the PG duties.

like who? Its got to be a pure salary dump. Hedo looked great a year ago. Guys look old fast when they are mailing it in.

Its no secret that DWs plan is to sign 2 max guys or 1 max guy +1 Lee and use Curry's contract for some veteran guys with longer contracts. Not sure who that would be though

How about Hedo pledge he will do better and spend the summer at" world famous renowned" Tim grocers to get in shape.

How about just suck up well deserved critic and let the game speak?

let other teams worry about him. This is our time!

if the Raptors asked for Lee & Gallo for Bosh & Hedo, would you do it? that would mean no room to sign another max FA.

No we would be giving up too much. I like Bosh and they can have Lee plus anyone but Gallo for Bosh and Turkey-glue, but not Gallo, no.

agreed... we gave up a ton to get enough cap space to sign 2 max FA's, so anything short of that would be a disappointment to me, especially if we had to give up Gallo on top of it.

turkoglu is playing the sympathy card.

unfortunately, he is reponsible for much of it.

after playing in the finals and all summer with turkey, he came into camp exhausted and out of shape. the coaching staff told him to rest up and start playing with the team in preseason. but he was out of shape pretty much the whole season.

now, hedo probably was not used in the same way as orlando did. and when he wasn't, his game suffered. he did play after breaking a bone in his face and smashing his nose a few times. and every time he seemed to get on track, he would get a little injury to set him back.

but regardless of what happened on the court, he was seen all year long out at clubs and having a good time. he got a rep of a party boy so the event he is talking about, was not an isolated incident. he was suspended for the same ongoing behavior that led up to it. there was one night when he was hurt but was photographed by a girl with her cell phone at a club...where he took the phone and deleted the picture. it made the papers and that's how the team found out about that one.

the new CBA needs to address this type of situation - a guy signs for 5 years $50+ mil (which has a trade kicker) and he demands a deal 1 year into it.

btw, he doesn't have an agent, he just has lawyers representing him so when he says "the lawyers" are working with colangelo, it really means his agent.

I would trade for Hedo if his role was going to be 6th man off the bench. I think he would excel in tht role at this point in his career and it would keep him fresh.

Lee and Curry for Bosh and Hedo? I think I am down.

Personally, though, I would still prefer Iggy to Hedo in all circumstances.

Stankylu had the ideal situation in Orlando.. I said the guy has been pretty much a career bum until he got to orlando.. he went for the money in Toronto.. Who cares what he wants right now...

Why are ya'll trying to give him such an extreme benefit of the doubt? He had one really good year when his contract was up. This past year was closer to the real Turkeyglue.

And how are ya'll just brushing past this club shyt? He'd lose his mind in the city.

that's a case of just looking at the #'s without actually watching him play.

the difference between turk in orlando and turk in toronto is usage. he ran the point forward alot more for the magic. that's the main reason he's been upset in toronto. when he did handle play making duty for a consistent stretch, he produced. he didn't mesh with jose as jose is also a primary ball handler. it's also partially a result of a rookie coach with 9 new players trying to appease everyone.

I agree. I didnt understand why he went to Toronto when they have a PG. Turkeyglue needs the ball in his hands to be effective. I wouldnt play him next to a decent PG but he'd be ideal next to a SG in a PG's body. I think he could flourish here with Douglas in the backcourt.
