ROFLMFAO @ Zach. What kind of moron earns millions of dollars playing a game, only to get implicated in a drug distribution activity? Puts into perspective how insignificant Wilson's transgressions should be considered.

At least he is not going broke like Eddy.

He makes his people EARN the money.

I would be suprised if he is this stupid. Most likely he is just letting people use his cars and while it goes on "around" him he might just be the finance part of any thing. If so, he is tied but can't these dudes just hire a legit money manager?

Innocent before proven guilty but it's weird how this guys name always crops up when there is trouble. It would have happened here eventually. No matter how this turns out Walsh made the right choice.

What's Crawford's crime?

playing that awful ass defense of his. And chucking up shots.

Zach Randolph is a very good offensive player but an idiot. I still wouldn't want him on my team. Too much baggage. Shame because he has the talent to be a franchise level PF.

I'm not gonna read to much into this BS story. The man makes millions playing basketball there is no way he would get involved in something like this. Looks to me like another cop trying to justify his job.

is this kinda like the same way a cop was trying to justify his job by making up a story about nate newton being caught with 400lbs of weed in his truck?

some of these guys are idiots and we all know zach is an idiot.

LOL these are accusations by a police INFORMANT. Sorry folks but this seems like a reach of epic proportions. Randolph doesn't own the house they were investigating.

The K-9 unit found some drugs which they didn't even note the quantities. LOL. Why? because it was probably not worth mentioning. If they found serious quantities they would have made sure to mention it.

- Zach Randolph buys his friends expensive vehicles. SHOCKING!
- Zach Randolph lets his friends use his home in Indianapolis when he lives in Memphis for 80% of the year. SHOCKING!

- Zach Randolph also paid families energy bills in Memphis for the Holidays. He must have been using their homes as stash houses according to an Informant. LOL

I was think about Newton that guy is a idiot but he is a football player. Football player I can understand their need for a side businesses. They can get cut at anytime and contracts are rendered meaningless in the NFL. But basketball is a whole different beast guaranteed contracts worth millions. Randolph has his faults but he isn't that dumb. It wasn't Randolph riding around with the car. It was his friend who screwed him over.

what about shawne williams who was playing for the nets this year when this happened?

Shawne Williams indicted on drug charges hours after NJ Nets waive him
By Dave D'Alessandro/The Star-Ledger
January 15, 2010, 6:09PM

Just hours after he was waived by the Nets, Shawne Williams was indicted on drug charges in his hometown of Memphis, the Commercial Appeal reports.

The story says the 23-year-old forward, who hasn't played in an NBA game since November of 2007, was indicted on eight charges.

The story continues:

According to the Shelby County District Attorney's office, Williams was indicted on four counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver/sell, and four counts of conspiracy to manufacture/deliver/sell a controlled substance, a codeine-based syrup. Both are considered Class E felonies and carry standard sentences of 1-2 years, if convicted.

Williams turned himself into authorities and was booked Friday into the Shelby County Jail. His bond has been set at $16,000. He is one of 24 defendants indicted following the Memphis Police Department's "Operation: Lockdown" investigation.

No arraignment date has been scheduled.

I would take ZBo back for pennies on the dollar if it came with their pick which we could turn into Whiteside/Henry/Montiejunas.

Would be a great plan H if the big FA's don't choose to come here.

Trade for ZBo and a pick, sign Craw to a three year deal after he opts out and sign Frye to the mid level.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Zach is not an idiot.
He is criminal and I bet he get much more money out of drag trade that from bbal (especily after tax).
And he is absolutely integrated into all this net, from which is no way out but jail or cementry.

David Lee is kind of disconnected for the fan base.... no drugs, no expensive vehicles for friends...
David should stop being a diva and start making steps to join the mainstream.
