LeBron needs a leader as a coach...Tough minded, strong willed teacher who strokes and leads...Like Riley to Magic, Phil to MJ...If LeBron chooses NY, it might not be bad to have a guy like Oak around...Oak knew how to deal with a superstar like Mike, like Patrick...Like Van Gundy says, Lebron needs truth tellers around him...I'm not sure if pringles fits that mold...

Oak, Please...there's a reason why Oak has no current role on the knicks, or in the NBA for the matter...he's a bafoone, he maybe a tough as nails player, and a decent businees man, but motivation and teaching are far from his list of attributes.

It's funny that just cuz MDA doesn't hold ego stroking sessions with players, there's this idea that he's a soft touch. I don't think he's really that soft from what I see of the guy on the bench. He's not Jerry Sloan, but I think he gets his point across. Lebron doesn't need a coach that will just let him do what he wants, but I think Lebron is smart enough to realize that listening to a coach like MDA is in his best interests. So long as he listens and executes what MDA is asking I see no reason for concern.

There is some cred there. This is why I say there is zero chance he goes to Chi or Miami. ZILCH. He's either staying in Cle or he's coming here, and its not going to be to the swamp while they build a new arena in Brooklyn. He's not coming here to play with Gallo or anyone else. He's coming here for all the reasons mentioned in that article.

Or

He's NOT coming for all the reasons mentioned in that article.

NY has made ARod a better player. I have no doubt

Wojo was on Mike and Mike this morning and was talking about LeBron. He said he believes Chicago has the best chance of getting LBJ if he leaves and that the guy World Wide Wes is trying to broker a LeBron/Cal package to Chicago. He also said that after the dust settled he thought that LeBron would most likely be in Cleveland next year. In regards to the Knicks he said he didn't see it happening. He did say that if LeBron came to the Knicks that D'Antoni might be chased out after a season so Cal could coach the team. He mentioned several times that he thinks rumors about Cal and LeBron will follow LeBron wherever he goes even if there is a coach in place. He also said that if the Nets were in Brooklyn he thinks they would be LeBron's most likely destination and even not being in Brooklyn, he thinks the Nets have a better chance than the Knicks. His final prediction was that LeBron would sign a short term contract and return to Cleveland.

LOL
This makes no sense at all. A bunch of statements which cancelled each other.

No way I go play in Chicago and have to pass the Jordan statue everyday!!! NY has the most upside of any destination and to pass that up cuz it might take till his 2nd season here to get to the finals is a short sighted view. ARod, CC, Jeter, Messier etc should be what he's focused on. They can tell him just how great winning here really is.

I don't believe this media created hype about Lebron going to Chicago! Rose n Noah isn't enough to have to live in Jordan's shadow and pass up all that NY offers.

again... Wojo is a guy who covers the sport. He knows about what we know. Maybe he subscribes to more tweets. Whoop de do. The whole point in posting this article is it gave real insight (IMO) into what drives Lebron. He's 25. This is not a 33 year old KG looking for his best chance to win.

Nix said it best. If anyone thinks Lebron is walking past that MJ statue everyday they arent paying attention. Most likely he stays in his comfort zone, but if he leaves it its not going to be for winters in the windy city.
