wait - we gave up 3 lotto picks just to clear JJ's deal for one year. For 80mm over four, that price would work out to 21 lotto picks.

Dude is going to be making Michael Redd money the next 4 years. McGee, Young, and future picks is doing them a favor. Otherwise Arenas can kill their cap for the next 4yrs while they try to rebuild.

so why do we want him?

I would not take agent 0 Arenas and his contract

Again Arena's fits in scheme to score and a faboulous pressure player most of the times

However he ain't a knick need. (pass/defend first then shoot)

Agent 0 will amplify all of MDA sins as well as MDA coaching philosophy

We aren't going to rebuild and trading those picks just solidified that.

Gilbert Arenas's contract is one of the worst in pro sports. He's always good for a serious injury and he's a me first player.

Still, the Wizards know Arenas will hurt Wall's development plus they probable want to quickly erase any memory of the gun incident.

A $$ for talent trade might work, i.e. Arenas + Blatche + Young + pick # 30 for Curry + Walker.

Then we're looking at:

PG: Arenas, Douglas
SG: Chandler, Young
SF: Lebron, Gallo
PG: Lee, Gallo
C: Blatche, Barron

That's a lot of size and a lot of shooters surroundinmg LBJ.

That is pure ownage of them. I think McGee, Young, Arenas, and a future protected 1st is a better pill to swallow.

Sprewell worked out- and yes there is a difference between situations and players.

But if we could get the Wiz to pay enough to take him off his hands, then yea, I think you have to entertain it.

I mean, look at Utah- they're benefiting from the Suns taking advantage of Isiah & Dolan with Marbury- we just have to flip the equation enough.

And like Supreme said - if its the right situation.

if walsh got buy in to stink for 2 years to escape bad contracts/talent, why would they turn around and accept all the stupid ideas that havent worked for the past 10? i dont buy its just dolan wanting any type of playoff team... cutting dead weight and then basically adding a lot of it back doesnt make any sense.

GO TEAM VENTURE!!!!!

Arenas may have the worst contract in basketball. He has legal problems and minimally has very poor judgement. He is untradeable.

No. Remember how excruciatingly long Walsh twisted us over Sessions? I belive he would do th same with Arenas +?. (I hope he reads the site)

Utah benefiting is like wizards benefiting if we do a curry/arenas trade that is like marbs = arenas :)
