Why would LeBron James go to Chicago? They have done nothing the last 12 years besides getting lucky and drafting Derrick Rose (who is not Chris Paul or Deron Williams btw). They have a toxic management who do their fighting internally and being super cheap too. And it's still Michael Jordan's town. Why would LeBron go to Miami? Pat Riley has wasted the last 4 years of Dwyane Wade's career by failing to surround him with a proper supporting cast. Trades for Shawn Marion, Jermaine O'Neal and drafting Michael Beasley have not helped.
My point is - although New York may not be the perfect place to play, other teams also have their issues too.
My thoughts as well, at the end of the day there only 2 title contenders in the league..
I don't blame some for not trusting in MDA System as it has not produce a title as of yet. But at the same time how can you rule it out all together seeing that he never had the balance to win it all.
Teams win a ton of games during the regular season all the time and fall short in the playoffs.
Even when the knicks were a defense jugggernaut, we still came up short every time, because our offense and pace never matched up.
Your not going to win over a FA just by having a defensive plan, without defensive players.
We know MDA is an offensive guru, he manage to take a motley's crew roster and still had them a top the league in scoring..now throw in a couple of dirty workers, then instead of giving up 106ppg, we give up 99ppg, and teams shoot 47% against us instead of 49%..It doesn't take much to become a respectable defensive team.
