You simply cannot collapse on Lebron with those guys on the floor. Chandler has a solid mid range game and can play 3 positions.

If your talking about building around Lebron having an all star forward like Lee who can shoot, handle, rebound, finish around the basket and shoot > 55% (cant inflate THAT stat) is the best place to start. You can add some size and defense with that $8mm you save with Lee vs Bosh. Its not even a debate (so dont bother Sergio)

That sounds really good in the regular season, but in the playoffs you need studs (no perez hilton)...Bosh will command a stronger presence and is just a better talent. Lebron off of winning 66 in the regular season and getting run when it counts. Bosh.

Bosh and Lee as far as the playoffs are pretty much unknowns.

Really, the question is balancing out the need for talent (Bosh) vs. depth (Lee & another 2nd/3rd tier player).

In our case, I think if you are able to land Lebron, then the next need you have to address is some depth (and size).

I don't want to over hype Gallo, but I think he has shown signs that he will be more clutch in the big game than Bosh ever will be.

And I also think Lee can be a way better passer than Bosh could be, and I fully believe Lee will develop a lethal three point shot in 2 years.

Now, if we could add Dirk instead of Lee, then I might go for it as far as side kicks for Lebron.

Who exactly are we targeting for $8M we could save with David Lee? To me, it's extremely important to acquire a true 'Robin' for LeBron James. It's probably one of the most difficult pieces to acquire. Cleveland spent the last 7 years trying to get a Scottie Pippen and they failed. Yes, depth is important but that's easy to do over time. Getting that 'Robin' needs to be priority number one after we get LeBron. And no, David Lee is no 'Robin' on a title contender. If you're looking to win a title, you take Bosh over Lee and Mike Miller or whoever else you're looking to sign with that $8M imho.

I agree. It sounds a lil too much like Cleveland's approach when one says lets re-sign Lee and spread the money around. Bosh is the better talent and possesses the superior skill set.
