What dump, the brand new Prudential Center in Newark?

LOL at Sergio it hasn't sunk in that the Nets have moved out of the Izod Center and are playing in one of the newer arenas in the league.

It's still Newark and it's still Jersey and it's still a sports dump. LOL at bitty41 who refuses to acknowledge the Garden and New York City have a HUGE advantage over lousy Jersey.

What is that advantage? Over priced real estate? target of Terrorist attack? Highest Taxes in the country?

This excuse is tired since the Prudential Center is 15 minutes from the city. Vince Carter, Richards Jefferson, and Jason Kidd all lived in the city while playing for the Nets. If you factor in the new billionaire owner and the move to Brooklyn then you have to admit it is an attractive destination.

Yea the Garden has more history but with the Nets Lebron will be there History. He could be the Nets "Michael Jordan". Michael Jordan made people Bulls fans just like Lebron can make NY'ers Nets fans.

There's somewhat of a distinction when you're not just worth a billion or even a couple billion but this guy is stank rich and not losing much steam. He's worth almost $15bil. There aren't many Billionaire NBA Owners anyway. That's crazy and he's also a major risk taker.

The current estimate is repported to be 13 to 18 billion. There is a list of assets and a rather long winded but informative interview in 60 minutes of BS on MRMC

I'd wonder if he is smart enough to take Thibedeau(sp?)for coach. Put Phil Jackson in charge and be the eventual GM?

Umm "there's a new kid in town"

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."
