Unlike Miami, unlike Chicago, we don't have a primary ball handler. LeBron fits here.
not only do we not have a primary ball handler, we don't have a primary scorer, rebounder or defender!
seriously, is it a requirment that lebron dominate the ball to be effective? if you were him, wouldn't you want a guy like Rose to get you some easy shots?
but, I agree that nyc+ lebron + fa signing is probaby better than chicago + just lebron.
and if he serious about becoming a billionaire, nyc over hicago every time. nice city, but its just that, nice.
...And that's why everyone figures that if James comes to us, he is going to be doing some recruiting to gets some players he can work with over here.
I do think that Douglas and Gallinari are potentially the kind of complimentary players Lebron can live with, and will do much better with him on the team. Neither of them, or Chandler, for that matter, would cramp his style. Got to have a rugged player in the middle though (Chicago already has that guy in Noah). Would Bosh fill that need?
It really is scary, though, how few players we know for sure will be Knicks next year.
