name one other cav who has remotely had a good series? this is a one man band in cleveland. bron is great, but he has no help.

to assassinate him for not doing it all by himself when a team is locked in on him is ridiculous.

But that shouldn't excuse his bad play. If Lebron goes down in this series putting up great numbers and his teammates don't deliver okay. But going down because he took a few games off should be problematic for Knick fans. We're not even talking about winning a Championship here we're talking about competing against an over the hill Celtics team.

So the rest of his team was playing great and Bron laid down?

Bron played poorly, but he basically sank to the level of his teammates. None of his teammates has had anything resembling a great game for the entire series. Bron has had two or three and they've won 2 of those.

You're not factoring Rajon Rondo. He's having a legendary series. Probably the best from the PG position I've ever seen. And the Boston Big 3 are not playing like they are washed up. Don't forget the Celtics won the Championship just 2 years ago. Let's not make it seem like Cleveland and LeBron James are losing to some scrub team. On paper, the Celtics when healthy are probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the entire league.

When the Cavs run they destroy Boston. I dont see why Mike Brown insists on playing Shaq major minutes in this series. Running post plays for Shaq has horrible.

This is a load of bs excuse making. He's the guy who MVP it's funny when the Cavs are playing great than it's all Lebron but when they play bad it's because his teammates brought down his play LOL. Yea okay

Even Three past prime HOF's with good support can win a series.

Celts as a playoff team can be dangerous.

Nate got run after they up 25pts.

The Celtic are better at every position except LeBron's and that is a slight edge over Peirce.

Rondo > Mo
Allen > West
Perkins = Shaq
Garnett > Jamison
Peirce < James

that would never have been said about jordan...if it were jordan's teams out there and they didnt play well, he would've bitch slapped them right there on the court.

Like I said you tend to remember Jordan winning all the time. Everyone forget the playoff loss to Cleveland where the Bulls lost by 40 points.

True but the point is Jordan has performed poorly in a playoff game too.

There is truth to both sides. The anointment of James has probably been a bit premature given a performance like last night and the fact that he hasnt won a 'ship --- but the Cavs are trash. The coach sucks, Mo's a midget, Shaq's old as shyt, Jamison is one of the bigger empty stat guys in the league...ext.

Jordan had another top 10 player riding shotgun. Kobe had Shaq and vice versa. Bird had two hall of famers. Isiah had a mean ass squad. Same with Magic...

the reason no one cares/recalls bad from jordan is cuz they won. anyone care aj burnett was awful in his road ws start now? not sure the point has much impact if you win the series. had they lost it would mean a bit more.

same for lbj -- they win the next 2, the past 2 matter much? will anyone really care? they fail, then its gonna stick a bit.

I agree you have to have something to work with when your game is down another player has to pick up the lead. Does anyone realize when James is out of the game the cavs have no one to go to. Its like some of the most wasted 8-10 minutes of the game from a Cavs stand point. Atleast with Jordan when he went to the bench they turned their offense over to Pippen. Kobe when he went to the bench Shaq was there. Magic Kareem, Worthy and so on. Do you realize that cavs don't even have a player who is as good as Byron Scott on the team.
