As a Jersey dude, I've gone to as many Nets games as Knicks games, and when I had cable, would watch YES a good amount. Wouldn't call myself a fan, but I definitely follow them more than any other team not named the Knicks.

I've also liked the Spurs since the Admiral days, Duncan is one of the greatest ever to play this game, and I love Pop's crazy ass. They beat us in '99 but it was a miracle we made it that far.

But in NBA Jam I loved getting on fire from the outside with Chris Mullin & Hardaway on Golden State.

My next fav team after our loved NY Knickerbockers
Is ANYTEAM that can whip, & beat tar out of hated Boston Celtics!

A team whom beats Boston is my favorite team always on that day

Phoenix with Nash - from the time MDA got there, and then Dallas also, less so with Nellie gone.

I've always like the wide open style of play - movement.

Yes, that is the same me critical of MDA.

They did not really compete against the Knicks, IMO, because they were in the ABA, and they usually had a good cast of players. Enjoyed watching them when the Dr. played, but also remember when Barry played for them. One of their players- George Brunz (sp)- was a teacher at Nassau Community College, where I was going at the time. Actually got to play in a 3/3 game with him while I was waiting for wrestling practice one time. Erving, Paultz, Kenon, Taylor, Skinner, Williamson, etc- I enjoyed those teams, even though they played in the same area as the Knicks.

Always thought it was sad that they could not stay on Long Island.

Same.... I appreciate good basketball. I'm a big fan of the things LBJ can do but I wouldn't call myself a Cleve fan. Same with Paul and Deron Williams.

I'm not a second favorite team kinda guy, but I don't really criticize those who do do that. I do root for certain teams over others in the playoffs though, like how I was pulling for Oklahoma city, and how I'm currently pulling for the Suns. However, I'll truely only be a fan of the Knicks, Yankees, Rangers, Giants and Red Storm.

Spurs and Pistons from a few years ago. Always liked the commitment to defense, and the non-spectacular team oriented play.

Yankees most definitely, not sure I would put them AFTER the Knicks though. Especially after drubbing Boston 10-3.

Orlando defense win chips, it's their turn. VC makes the difference this yr he's hungry.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Oklahoma all the way. Half my family is from OKC and I like pretty much all their players. And Durant could unseat LeBron for best player in the game in about 4 years. Also my cousin is a sportswriter over there and has said that Durant has incredible character.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I enjoy watching OKC but my 2nd fav would be whoever is playing those guys in green.

Oh and Duke! So 2 out of 3 defending National Champions ain't bad.
