But, he's demonstrated in two years ZERO interest in developing players.

And if we miss out on the big names, I'm not sure what we have left- except to start developing some talent.

You could, and they probably would, keep him around one more season, and then maybe play this all over again in 2011.

David Lee and Wilson Chandler improved trendously under MDA....

I would feel bad but he is under contract for 2 million next year and still gets paid to do nothing.

which is why he played and started jared jeffries while he was here and played and started raja bell in phoenix, ya know since those guys are absolute offensive machines.

jj wasnt really good at d, he simply tried more than the rest of the team. so good in comparison to * whilst here.

diff issue: i hope stern keeps quite from now on about where players should/should not go...

DLee became Mr. AllStar Double Double, Gallo, TD, and Chandler are all bonafide NBA talents. Thats developing talent.

At the same time we gutting salary and cleared out overpriced role players.

The record speaks for itself.

I no way blame MDA for the lack of success. Few coaches could have done better.

Tim Legler has made this point several times when interviewed and asked if he thinks LBJ is going to sign in NY.

For those dreaming of a midseason trade for Chris Paul, you better hope New Orleans doesn't hire Avery Johnson because he'll have that team back on track.
