I didnt know the Knicks had Dwayne Wade? what superstar are you talking about?

i think he's saying maybe this makes lebron want to come to the knicks (because they can get 2 max FA) with someone else .. amare, joe johnson, wade, whoever.

If Wade and LeBron see Bosh go to Lakers, both those guys gotta either team up or know that they wont win a championship for like 3 or 4 years at least, not to mention NOT getting past Orlando.

Before winning, ego comes first.

Wade is the Heat's franchise legend. Nobody else compares to him. He is idolized there and can do no wrong. I can't see him leaving a place like that so he come here and be scrutinized by our media when we don't play well. Plus, I don't think his ego can handle being a #2 guy to LeBron James.

I just dont buy that. These guys are also competitive freaks and want to win. If Wade or LeBron see Kobe, Bosh, Gasol on the same team with Artest and possibley Odom... damn.

Wade isn't interested in coming here at this time. Why can't we accept this? It's a like having signals sent to a hot girl being rejected or avoided but you think you have a shot because every once in a while she talks to you....

"I'm looking forward to a good team to build, and being with some great players next year, and to continue to beef up our roster," Wade said.

Notice his use of the pronoun "our."

And also note that at no point did Wade ever expressly state a desire to head elsewhere. But he did place the onus on Pat Riley to make things happen over the summer.

"I'm not putting no pressure on myself. I think I put myself in a great situation three years ago to sign this deal to make sure that my team stays competitive. We've got some work to do, the front office has to do it, and there's no pressure on me," Wade said. "I've said where my heart is, and I think any player that's thinking about wanting to come to Miami, they know where my heart is. You just have to see things being done and accomplished.

"We see that, and we'll be talking again."

Until players come here and talk and then turn down our offer, I see no reason to be alarmed. The media LOVES to tweak the Knicks and a lot of this is with the purpose of creating a huge negative story about the hated New Yorkers coming up short this summer after putting all it's eggs in the basket.

You'll see more doom and gloom reports and more "I'm not comin to the Knicks" statements. It's all meaningless until we get to July 1 and teams can talk to FA's.

plus dwade knows that playing with lebron gets him TONS of easy buckets that he'd otherwise have to continue to be killing his body for. every time i've seen them play together - olympics, all-star games - lebron finds wade swooping to the rim constantly. it's like playing with magic johnson. plus wade is a 7 asst/game guy for his career. it would be like watching the magic-norm nixon, jerry west-gail goodrich, clyde-pearl parings - and then some!

Total BS. Raps could do much better elsewhere; hell they'd be better off with Lee over oft injured Bynum (NOT SAYING LEE IS IN ANY WAY BETTER). Barg is not franchise material,is too soft and takes too many 3's to be the man down low.

I'm not sure who the answer is for them down low but they do need a replacement big.

I could see (not that he would ever play in the swamp) a Lopez+filler for Bosch. Even a Mark Gaso+filler for Bosch.

T.dot may need a 3rd team to get involved to make things work

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Bosh to LA for Bynum is perfect
1) gets overpriced Bosh off our radar
2) we get to see Kobe whine and complain every year when Bosh isnt effective because of his torn labia he's nursing
3) various combos and variations of the above

Also the key is "when healthy". He hasn't been healthy in 3 seasons, regardless of his age. It's a pretty bad deal for the Raptors. I don't care how others try to spin it. I'd rather get nothing for Bosh than take Bynum. That's just the way I look at it.

last year:

bynum w/o gasol: 19.8 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 1.56 blocked shots in about 38 minutes

bynum w/ gasol: 13.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.4 blocked in about 28 minutes

they operate in the same area which makes it somewhat tough to get both going at the same time.

4 centers last year had a PER of over 20:

dwight 24.0
bogut 20.7
bynum 20.2
lopez 20.1

and he's 22 years old.

bynum would be perfect with Gallo's older brother in Toronto.
