He's welcome to all his money.

But then he has to put up with whatever the Knicks decide about his playing time.

He's in no position to demand all his money and a waive.

Fat Eddie should be allowed to play. If he can't keep up, he should be benched. Let him play for his money/career. If it works, so much the better. If he fails and begins to act up, he should be suspended and have his pay docked. Welcome to the real World.

Why wouldn't Eddie want all of his money? His inability to make a contribution on the court is the same inability he has to keep his head above water financially. This is not a man with much of a basketball future of any kind. But I'm tired of all of this waiving of players. Like markvmc said, just cash your check and play the role you earn.

Wow, why is all this hate directed at Eddy Curry? The culprits here are Dantoni and Walsh. D'Antoni, for not putting Eddy's massive talents to better use, and Walsh for not trading Eddy to another team so that he can fulfil his passion to play basketball.

I always hoped Eddy would turn it around, get his act together and become the player a lot of peole thought he could be. Unfortunately, he's been taking his cues from god knows where. He hasn't earned the right to demand anything. If anything, if I were the Knicks, I'd be looking hard at Eddy's contract looking for a breach. After that, I'd look to insurance, cause the guy can't seem get onto the court, let alone stay on the court. I don't believe he has played in over a year, there might be an insurable loss there.

Regardless, f--- Eddy Curry. He hasn't earned a thing and has absolutely no right to make demands. His fat ass is a better trading chip as an expiring contract than anything he ever provided to the Knicks.

You know I gonna spin wit it

It's not like MDA didn't want to play him, they wanted him to suceed more then anyone considering his value and contract.

Even your witty sarcasm cannot salvage this fat piece of arrogant trash. It might even tear the very fabric of the universe apart. A big blubbering vagina with zero self esteem is actually arrogant and egotistical. How the hell that happened is going to be a mystery that scientists well into the future will spend countless millennia attempting to unravel it's secrets.

He lived, he saw, he ate, he declined to be bought out or traded.

In the year 2350 baffled scientists discover the homercurrynotsoerectus.

And now the truth is this fatass has scuttled any summertime trade. Best we can do is now just send him home to play video games and try to move him in February of 2011. If not you cut him March 2nd (so his fat ass can't join a playoff team's roster that year). I would even try to talk to the NBA to see if you can suspend him without pay for this. This is blatant on his part. Remember his Isiah firing threat? Dude hasn't played since. Isiah getting fired was like his father dying. Yes, Eddy is that mentally fragile(deranged) that I could see him playing such a card all this time.

I hate this fat ****. I wonder if he has a single fan left not named Bernard King (not the player, the idiot fan).

Does he have a no-trade clause in his contract or something? If he does, then we need to find another way to do make him any less useless than he's been last few years. Find something that he really hates, like working out and make him do it. His shenanigans are just getting rediculous. Either force him into medical retirement or something. SMH at this dude. A valid approach would be to make him do every diagnostic test there is on his heart and use that to determine that he is not fit to play and void the contract. I wonder if he can refuse to do diagnostics test too if they are needed to determine if he is physically able to play ball ever.

Don't worry, we'll soon be hearing about how Eddy Curry has spent the summer in Chicago working out with Quentin Richardson, and has lost 40 pounds, and then we'll have to listen to nixluva proclaim his domination at the center position next year for 4 months until training camp when he once again sprains his vagina after 10 minutes of scrimmage. In reality, it turns out he lost 4.0 pounds in July and gained 10 pounds a month through October.

Not for nothing, but a sprained vagina can be very detrimental when a player is trying to make a comeback. Given how he has a documented history of spraining his vagina I'd say that he is very likely to suffer from this debilitating ailment even if he drops 100 pounds during his next attempted comeback.

[ducks for cover]

Sorry- I may be an idiot, but is it the worst thing to see if Eddy can't come back and contribute next season?

There have been players that have been out with injuries over a couple of seasons, and then after are able to come back and be effective.

Jermaine O'Neal comes to mind.

Chances are we're stuck with him next year.

Granted, MDA won't play him, or even maximize his talents.

But even if we buy him out and save $2mm in cap - what exactly are we going to do with that money?

eddy cant afford to take a buyout - remember the guy asked for an advance of his salary last season. he got major bills and doesnt know how to save his money. all this talk about him being ready for next season is something fans hear every year. the guy is a joke - wish the nba was more like the nfl - this guy should be flat out released and his contract absolved. period, end of story.

my prediction = eddy is out of bball in 2-3 yrs tops. why that long some will say? well, he'll finish out his current contract next year, then get picked up at a minimum one year deal for a season by some team who needs a big, hurt himself again or get fatter and more uninspired, cut or benched for remainder of that season then done for life in the nba.

Anyone catch the line in the Berman article?

In perhaps his last act as a Knick, Curry forgot his passport on their season-ending trip to Toronto earlier this week, according to sources.

If Curry wants out so badly, he has the option of not picking up his option year. It's not that complicated Eddy. You want out, there is a way to be a free agent ASAP.
