Knicks will either sign who they can and then use Curry's expiring in trade. Or they will sign who they can and let Curry expire and use that space in 2011. Or they will sign who they can and buy Curry out for 2M less to make those signings happen.

Your proposed trade is horrendous for the Knicks.

I have also read plenty of Raptor forums to see that the fans do not like Calderon, have blamed him for playing selfish, and hate his contract.

The only thing the Knicks would want from Toronto are Bosh (who would probably end up in Chicago first) or Bargnani (who isn't going anywhere).

99% of raptors posters are dumb idiots like 99% of knicks posters.

what you get from calderon: a pg that can run an offense and can shoot a great percentage. d'antoni needs a pg like that and there are not that many available. tell me a pg that's available that is better for d'antoni.

there's you, me . . . . who else is in that 1%?

David Lee - Dump
Tracy McGrady - Dump
Eddy Curry - Dump
Chris Duhon - Dump
Danilo Gallinari - Keep
Al Harrington - Dump
Wilson Chandler - Dump (trade for a PG)
Jonathan Bender - Dump
Eddie House - Dump
Sergio Rodriguez - Dump (would keep if his salary was lower)
J.R. Giddens - Dump
Toney Douglas - Keep
Bill Walker - Keep
Earl Barron - Keep
Donnie Walsh - Keep
Mike D'Antoni - Dump
James Dolan - Dump

It's a chain man:
James Dolan - he is here forever
so Donnie Walsh will be in
so Mike D'Antoni will be in
so Danilo Gallinari will be in
so David Lee will be in if we will not get 2 top FAs
so Bill Walker, Earl Barron will be in if they will want to for chip
so Wilson Chandler, Toney Douglas will be in if they will not be dumped in sign/trade
so eddy Curry will be fatting around if not b-out

Your saying that because he's had some effective games against the knicks, but honestly dude ( i have league pass), calderon is extremely inconsistant for the money he makes, and can't play ( what else is new) a lick of defense.

How do you keep Walsh but dump D'antoni? It is Walsh's fault this team has sucked so much. Plus, Free Agents will consider the Knicks because of who the coach is, not so much who the GM is.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I don't like Mike D'Antoni's philosophy or system. And if we had Scott Skiles or Avery Johnson, I think FA's would still be interested. I think this idea that players are in love with D'Antoni is a little overrated.

Pretty sure Bosh's defense is just as bad. He gets a block a game, Lee gets a steal. The rest is bad defense. Both should improve their defense.

Bosh's offensive game is SUPERIOR to Lee's. Plus he is bigger than David Lee. No one wants Bosh because they think he is a defensive Dynamo.

If we cant get Bosh then keeping Lee is fine.

Not even close. Chris Bosh is a mediocre/average defender. David Lee is at the bottom. If Lee played average/mediocre D, he would be a MAX player like Bosh.

The rapts would just love to dump calderon who under achieve (in there eyes) enormously, his contract ( for his production) at this point is horrendous. I would rather have Jaret Jack

Chandler to Minny for Rubio.

That's why we should root for Minny to win the Lottery and draft John Wall. Minny will be forced to trade Ricky Rubio if that happened.

It's hard to believe 11% of the respondents to that poll voted to keep Dolan. WTF? Who's drinking the Cool Aid? I would be willing to let Marbs come back for a year witha super size Vaseline and a blunt if Dolan would "retire" for good.

Odds of happening = ZERO

Who knows what other teams would be willing to give up for Rubio.

Why should anyone give up talent for Rubio anyway? We don't know if he will come over. We don't know how good he could be in the NBA. I think there are a lot of question marks that would have teams hesitant to give up assets to take a risk on him.

Chandler however seems to be the player that will be moved as an asset this offseason. He's just the odd man out. He's not a SG. He's not going to play ahead of any combination of a duo of Lee, Bosh, Amare, LeBron, Boozer, Okafor, Gallo that we will have or could acquire. He's not going to remain a backup. He's the least talented of the starting forwards we have and could have through free agency. I think he's the one that gets traded and possibly for a point guard.
