Actually might make the Hornets overall better. DLee sign and traded. Question is does he really want to be in NO?

Lament on Eddy sucking.

Can GMs even talk trade yet? I don't see why not.

CP3 agent can inform a certain Lebron underling there is a deal thats gonna happen and he can join in the fun.

Next year is fun. We add our big the year after with Eddy's money. Gallo will get better.

To be honest I can't see LeBron being paired with CP3. They both need the ball in their hands. What I can see is CP3/Amare or Bosh togeher.

Nets? We shall see.

It's not a high degree if probability but my guess is that CP3 would welcome a change and the teams financial situation is not good. They barely averted the luxury tax last year but I think that won't happen thus year without a major move. Besides they have a team that is ok but not great and they need to start over. Why not get an early start?

The only teams that can probably get Chris Paul around the draft would be the team with a top 3 pick and young guys to spare.

New Orleans needs cap relief and few teams will be willing to absorb a big contract like we can in order to get a great player.

Check out New Orleans cap situation. http://www.shamsports.com/content/pages/data/salaries/hornets.jsp

Peja expires this year. Once Peja expires New Orleans cap situation is fine. The only big deals they have are Paul and Okafor. You think they are going to give Paul away for one year of taxes?

there is a great opportunity w/ NO but its not for CP3, its for Collison. They are $73mm next year. WAY over the luxury tax threshold.

If the Knicks dont sign Lebron/Wade/Amare I would bring back Lee and turn my attention to getting a real PG.

Darren Collison is averaging 19 points, 9 assists and shooting 48% overall and 43% from 3 point.

Peja is making $15mm next year.

Trade them for a 2nd round pick straight up in a salary dump. Knicks are under the cap so we can absorb the $16mm in salary. The Hornets would then drop below luxury tax and that would drop close to $22mm right into the owners pocket.

People here may scoff but Shin is one of the cheapest owners in the sport and is working to sell the team.

Peja isnt part of their long term plans and Collison is a backup to the face of their franchise. If they really balk I would give them Chandler back

I think if the nets get a top two pic they can very easily get chris paul for harris and the pick, leaving them with cap room CP3, Lee, Williams, Lopez and room for someone like Amare or ever Bosh.

Why would New Orleans be so eager to bring in Harris and a pick for CP3? Harris is avg'ing nearly 9 mil over the next 3 years. We can give them serious cap relief and they can go shop for FA's that are cheaper, than Harris. Namely young guys like Morrow and Outlaw. Our Cap relief gives them a shot at FA's to rebuild with.

if i were the Nets & got a #1 pick i'd just keep it & take John Wall.

I think the real underdog here is Oklahoma. They have a real good chance of signing Bosh if the cap moves up to $56M. Bosh was born and raised in Texas so he probably would feel more at home in OKC than in a large metropolis like NY or Chicago or Toronto.

Not to mention Bosh with Durant/Westbrook could be the missing piece to a championship team.

Well the ultimate scenario would be Lebron losing before even getting to the finals. That happens then we can really send Steph down there and ask Lebron if he's gettin in the Truck.

I really think Knicks chances at getting bosh is slim to avg, depends on Dwayne Wade stay in Heatland
and also Wade's pitch to Bosh.

Think about it, of the big 3 the guy with best chance to leave is Wade whom I believe is also from Chi-town
and at least has 1 NBA Title ring of his own ...Not bosh, not lbj.

The pressure would be less on Wade than Bosh to win in Chicago but when you think about it the pressure on
LBJ and Wade to be compared to Michael 6 ring Jordan would be alot to live down if none won a title as a BULL.

We know LBJ aint leaving anyway only so slight of chance if he wins title in Cleveland this yr,
Wade is best bet to either Stay in Miami can lure Bosh OR leave Miami.

IF Wade decides to leave NY is a better option for him than any other place he can own NYC and he already won a
title. The pressure in NY is different cause Wade would change the culture of the Knicks.

Bosh will tease the Knicks to the end and there are few teams in NBA gonna push hard for Bosh.
If Raptors really like David Lee, do the sign and trade for Bosh
