I demand to know the origin of the nick "Ionlyjoinedforthealba". That one must've been hard to explain growing up.

When I was born, I was the first of any grandchildren on either side of my family. My father was stationed at Ft. Bliss is El Paso when I was born. My family all flew in from CT and NJ to be with my parents when I was born and as everyone was going out there an older distant cousin jealously / sarcastically stated that they were all going to visit me the newborn "king of el paso". I had heard the story a number of times growing up and decided in high school that I liked how it sounded as a user / screen name and have used it ever since.

New York Knickerbocker is self explanatory.

but

I was originally NYCager but some reason I could not log in anymore so I created NYKBocker. As for the initial name, cager is what they called basketball players back in the day. When I lived in the Philippines the game announcer always referred to basketball players as cagers.

ENY stands for the section of Brooklyn I'm from and Spree was my favorite player when I first started posting here.

My original name used to be SpreeH20...I think I might have asked Martin and Andrew to switch it over for me because after 1999 I began to despise Allan Houston.
