Bosh is a really good player, one I would sign for the max because he's a max player and thats a solid asset to have. Worst case is you can always get a nice package of talent back in a trade for a guy like Bosh if healthy.

However he's so soft defensively and he gets banged up a lot. He may play through it, but as DJ has documented several times his play goes into serious decline during these stretches. I would prefer an athletic and more physical presence next to Lee. Lee is a great scorer, he really his.

I know I am waffling here some, but my beef w/ Bosh is he takes up so much $$$. $17mm is a lotta bling. Especially when you consider combo's of players... like $9mm for Tyrus Thomas and $7mm for Mike Miller. Maybe a guy like Brandon Haywood. Maybe we use the cap space to trade for Ok4 and put him next to Lee. Maybe we take Elton Brand for Eddie Curry in a salary dump by Phili.

I think Douglas, Chandler, Gallo and Lee is a solid base of players. You add a center and a playmaker and I think you have something. Those are good BB players who continue to improve. Lee wont be cheap but if you give him 6 years starting at $9mm thats a $70mm contract. Thats a TON of money, but the $9mm for Lee vs. the $17mm for Bosh is a KILLER.

He can stay in his home state, play for a coach that he likes on a better team for more money. I think he has a lot of reasons to stay. I hope the rumors are wrong and he ends up in NY. However, he would be a villain in his home state of Ohio.

But, I really give him 75% staying, 24% Knicks, 1% somewhere else.

If he stays, he stays, but his bum ass better do it immediately instead of screwing with teams who made space for him. Making them wait. Making them miss out on other players for him to just turn around on like August 29th and say "aw LOL I was always staying."

Which, I could see him doing. Because he's a douchebag.

Im telling you a frontline of Bosh Lee and Gallinari will be scary

We would have an additional 9mm to fill out the roster--which I think is under-rated.

You don't think Gallo and Lee's numbers will decrease? I think this roster will net the same amount or even slightly more than what Toronto has achieved.

I think you can see a difference when you put Barron in there and Barron is not close to Bosh's class of player. You can see how Lee's diversified game will fit in and Gallinari can play inside out.

i think there is no way in hell D Lee would put up 20 & 10 playing next to Bosh or Amare.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Not a chance. We got a preview when a more aggressive player (Zach) played with Lee.

It was a small sample but a legit one. Lee disappeared.

Agree, plus add our find of Earl Barron and we would finally have an NBA-claber frontcourt. Let McGrady walk, and start Douglas, Chandler, Gallo, Lee, and Bosh, with Sergio, Walker, Giddens, and or two picks coming in off the bench. If MDA can get the defense straight, that team could win 40 games.

that is an unfair comparison. we had thomas as a coach who tried to juggle curry, lee and randolph in the same lineup with minutes which dont work. also lee was in his second year. he is a better player right now by far. i think he will do better with bosh but we will see if it happens.

The few games Randolph played under D'Antoni the same result happened Lee disappeared.

Lee got benched in favor of Chandler for a few games. That's how he made it into the starting lineup. It's funny how it seemed so long ago.
