I don't think this is about Walsh. This is really on D'Antoni's desire to not want to utilize players on the defensive end. I think you have to start and separate the two. To continue to lump them together is unfair to both MDA and Walsh.

walsh was the one who hired mda so walsh has to take the ultimateresponsibility

I agree but I think Donnie has done his best to accommodate MDA. Guys were brought in here for MDA and not utilize by the coach. To me that is them not being on the same page. If you make a trade for a Darko because your coach fills that he could help and the guy doesn't get off the bench. Or you draft a player that the coach says he wants and he doesn't see the floor or calls him a bad rookie. Then there is an issue somewhere.

How do you consistantly win 55+ games for 4 season without playing no D. I guess if cleveland makes another strong run in the playoffs only to come up short again, the coach should be fired.

you consistently win by having good players on your roster... no one is doubting MDA's ability to win games with good players... we're doubting his ability to win championships w/o focusing more on defense... it's his philosophy that people have questions about, not his coaching ability.

Who cares about defense when we can potentially put 5 guys out there that can score from every angle on the court? Imagine Lee working on his 3 point shot this off-season and becoming a 30 ppg scorer next year! Knicks basketball would be so exciting that steam would be coming out of MSG during the winter!
