I would also say keep Ah Harrington for 6th man and if we have the money to get him Anthony Morrow who has been the best 3 point shooting 2G in the NBA for two years running. Our consistency from 3 is also a point of emphasis.

not saying you don't get lebron beacause you want to maximize gallo's talent, but I am getting tired of the Lebron or bust talk... that can has been playing us fans since the day we started clearing cap room.. LOL

Wait, so are you really saying that you would re-consider getting Lebron on account of how it may affect Gallo's game?

no, I didn't say taht... read what I said.. you get lebron if you must, if he wants to come, you get him, but lebron needs a team to win, and if we are marketing guys like gallo, chandler and douglas as his "helpers" then we must realize that we are possibly not going to be able to maximize these guys talents with the way they play and lebron plays.. that is fine, because we will have lebron, and I guess that is all people care about at this point...

why ? NY got to give something to get something back to fill needs
furthermore MDAntoni dont like bigs so we have an issue their, we need 7 footer or close
we need FAs

As long as David Lee is in NY Lee will be Center unless Bosh comes here
MDA wont change cause he's a skunk

It can't happen. Especially if LeBron or Bosh come here.

Chandler is odd man out. He's not a SG. He can't stay there. We need a lethal shooter. He can't play SF if we get LBJ or Bosh.

Bosh-Lee-Gallo
Lee-Gallo-LBJ

No Chandler. No place for him. I think he's the one that gets moved in the end.

Al Harrington is a disaster. His style of play hurts the continuity of the offense so if he misses shots he kills the team. He's also become more and more of a health concern. The guy has been a gimp since January. He's also now overweight. It shows.

Al Harrington needs to go. Unfortunately, if we do strike out this summer, Donnie will probably re-sign him. I sure hope not.

NBA owners with their eyes set on a 2011 -2012 strike beg to differ.

Supreme, I also agree on the Amare thought.

LBJ is the one guy I would sacrifice Lee for. If LBJ says he wants somone else and then you cater to that. Otherwise I am looking to sign:
Amare $17mm
Lee $9.5 (6 years 74mm is my best offer)
then you have $8 at the least to sign other guys.

I think we have enough offense. The key to this team playing well is defense on the perimeter and rebounding the ball. Our post defense wont be great w/ Lee and Amare, but thats balanced out by the 40/20/55% they will combine for every night. What we need to do is shut down the perimeter guys and I think people are seeing a different Lee when this team plays defense on the wing.

I like Walker and Giddens as prospects, and they are nice and cheap. I like the idea of trading up to get Brigg's guy Jimmer.

I would bring back Harrington to come off the bench for a MLE type deal 4 years $25mm and I would sign Raja Bell (if healthy) for 2 years and $7mm. He's older but still one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. I'm looking at him as tone setter in the backcourt with Douglas.

PG Douglas, Jimmer F
SG Raja Bell, Walker, Giddens
SF Gallo, Chandler
PF Lee, Harrington
C Amare
Thats my 10 man roster. Fill it our with some undrafted FA types.

My rotation would start Douglas, Raja, Gallo, Lee and Amare with Chandler and Harrington off the bench. Let the rookie fight with Walker and Giddens for that 8th spot in the rotation.

I see a team that really defends the wings and scores and rebounds at a very high rate up front.

I would rather have Bosh + JJ. That team is one Amare injury away from our current 20 win dream team.
