This season going south had 0 to do with David Lee

A. I would say the number 1 problem was inconsistency from the PG position
B. A close second was team defense
C. No second big--most teasm play with two bigs and we were consistently overwhelmed by size
D. Gallinari and the bench were very inconsistent shooting in the low 40's until the last 5 games

how do those 2 points have nothing to do with David Lee? u think this guy hasn't been a major part of the reason why there was no team defense being played this year? i'd say he was probably the single biggest reason why we've been a horrible defensive team this year... he's played 2 maybe 3 games this season where i actually saw him put forth a good effort on the defensive side of the ball... sorry but when you're the best player on a team that just doesn't cut it... i like how he played D the other night but that doesn't excuse the past several years of non-existence on that side of the ball... y'all are seriously buggin' trying to paint some picture that none of the Knicks' problems over the past have anything to do with David Lee's play based on 1 game.

This is the scary part--the guy is way to good to just let go for free. We added one player--Douglas and one player has stepped up--Gallo and it has changed the differential.

The Bucks added John Salmons and since they added him they are 16-2 +14

I will say it again--we do NOT need to SUBTRACT--we need to ADD. If you take away a David Lee--thats a huge subtraction.

If we address a second big--to me its either Stoudemire of Bosh
Resign Al Harrington to a reasonable contract
Keep Giddens and Walker
Tmac to vet minimum or close for a bench role/spot starter
Back up PG who can shoot the three with consistency {I like Fredette]
6-11 big man with out other pick or find a guy like Mahini for vet minimum etc.. or both

You really think that our losing had 0 to do with D Lee?

I'll say this if David was a role player on a better team he might help them win....

Saying that D Lee is our Go To Player.... He touches the ball more then anyone on the team!!

He is the MAIN reason we lose....... His D alone has cost us 30 loses no doubt!!
And he has taken more shot attempts then any other Knick this year by far so his offense
should be responsible for a few more!!

Not saying it's just his fault he is of course playing out of position but it is D Lee at the
end of the day that hurts us.....

He wont commit to D...... Granted here lately I think some guys are helping him look better on
D one being Gallo ( Who doesnt mind being part of a highlight or 2 like half the players in this soft NBA ) the
other being Douglas.... Even Giddens and Walker show more promise on D the Lee.....

I dont hate David Lee and would love him if he was a 5 million cap hold like Nate was
but at 10 Million D Lee needs to be part of a sign and trade....

I see Portland Toronto Minny all maybe making a push for him.....

I would Trade him or let him walk cant justify that kinda money for a Charles Smith type
player!!

D Lee not responsible for our loses is like saying Dudu is a good Player!!
