Because our center is fat and always injured. Even though Darko may have had those issues you mentioned, he was better than an injured Curry. Shocking that we didn't even give Cardinal a look at center. Though Hill was better than Darko imo and he didn't get playing time (here) either. (He is showing he is a good and talented kid, and you left him out of your center equation). Oh yeah, my last point, D'Antoni sucks...
