I mean, we kinda know the heart and personality makeup for Curry, so my guess would be HELL NO. For all practical matter, Darko is the same (to me). No heart, no practice intensity, already expressing that the offense should flow through him at outset of training camp, talking about playing in Europe next year already, etc.

Why as a coach would you want this type of player on the court? I know I wouldn't.

Because our center is fat and always injured. Even though Darko may have had those issues you mentioned, he was better than an injured Curry. Shocking that we didn't even give Cardinal a look at center. Though Hill was better than Darko imo and he didn't get playing time (here) either. (He is showing he is a good and talented kid, and you left him out of your center equation). Oh yeah, my last point, D'Antoni sucks...

if Eddy Curry were putting up games like the one Darko put up the other night i guarantee u people would want to see him out there on the floor at least until his contract expired... they wouldn't want to buy him out of his contract for nothing, which is pretty much what we did with Darko.

we bought Darko out of his contract? he was expiring and there was no chance he was coming back next year. so why bother?

in essence what we did was a buyout... we just cirumvented the arduous process of negotiating the terms... the Knicks had no intention of keeping Brian Cardinal... they made this trade to save some cash, bottomline, exact same thing as a buyout.

I thought the purpose was to try to win games, not play dispopsable eurotrash malcontents!

If Darko could help win what vendetta does MDA have for keeping him on the pine?

Darko has either sucked or been in the doghouse everywhere he's ever been. At some point you have to figure it's the player that's the problem, and not every coach he's ever played for.

So he played a decent game or two. Who cares?
