Personally, I don't want to spend the next five years watching LeBron jacking three point shots from close to midcourt...Adding no rhythm to the flow of the offense or no style of how to approach beating an opponent in a particular game...He passes the ball yes but is he a dedicated passer, is he willing to make that beautiful pass first than taking that difficult off balance shot...Bird was...Maybe it's my age or the feeling I got watching Bird and Magic last week during the HBO special...Today's stars just aren't playing the game the right way or as yesterday's stars showed us how to play it...Anyone or is it just me???
I'm with you big time on this issue, don't get me wrong LJ is an absolute monster BBALL player, but he's the same way jordn was before he started relizing avg 40 pts ain't going to get you no rings, just scoring titles.
James is mature and a very good leader for his age, but the dancing and prancing around during blowout wins and the shanngings with teammates are the reasons he's yet to win a ring. I've seen guy's joke around and have a little fun on the bench especially in blowout wins, but his antics are those of a rookie.
Somebody mention that the game has evolved and no longer are players inclined to find the open man, rather then make a off the charts ridiculous shot attempt (did you see me on sports center), well if you take a good look at the teams that win championships, the best player doesn't go 1 on 5. IMO He's probably 2 years away from winning a ring no matter who he plays for next season.
