STAR POWER!!!! Just needed the RIGHT COACH!!!!

2011 Pick Swap - #1 overall pick in 2011. (The Next Jordan)
2012 Pick - #1 overall pick in 2012. (The Next Shaq)

Damn you Donnie! You stole our 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012 NBA Titles away from us!

i would take jordan hill and our #1's back in a SECOND.

I'm far happier with Sergio, Walker, House, (giddens), (tmac), and the chance to land premier Free Agents than I would be with Hill and his clumsy hands, Nate's headless chicken routine, Jared Jeffries, a pick that would end up 8th at best yet again, a swap that may or may not happen and would be 8th again, and no chance at any premier free agents, and a ticket stamped to continued mediocrity.

Marv, at this point I'm done looking at the individual trades that completed the roster tear down. A 2 year plan is now coming to a close.

So in doing so now I'm looking at the entire body of work if you will. What did we send out, what did we get back.

In that if you combine the whole thing from the day Isiah was fired I think more will see that we did very well to get to this point.

A chapter is now closed. The sum of the parts is what you now look at IMO. We wanted to get where we are, we did, and what did it cost us. That kind of viewpoint.

Now...it's time to move forward. It is now about what Walsh and Mike can do with these assets we now have over the next two seasons. So we'll be back to critiquing each and every move as they come.

every trade should be analyzed on its own... trading Nate for Walker, House & Giddens turned out fine for us... Donnie deserves praise even tho there were doubts.

T-Mac trade was an all in panic trade if i ever saw one... go ahead & reason it away all you want & make up lies how people long for the days of Isiah, but DW sold us all on a plan of attaining cap flexibility AND developing young assets when he took this job... this is why people were putting all their trust into his plan, it seemed like the logical path to follow & had supposedly signaled the end of the days this franchise would rely on starphuching its way to contention... but he doused cold water on that illusion the second he signed off on that T-Mac trade... now it's become the "Lebron, please come save our franchise" plan because i'm going all in with a 2-7 in the hold hoping for a good flop... that's not exactly a sound plan to build a championship contender with... it's all great to hope that Lebron signs in NY... we already had that option... we didn't have to dump all those assets to free up $9 mil in cap space to get there... we overpaid in that trade, there's no ways around it... & unless Lebron signs w/NY this summer, Donnie's willingness to gamble the future of the Knicks' franchise in such an irresponsible manner will always be scrutinized.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Anybody else find it funny that Marbury can't even take a Chinese league team into the playoffs let alone out of the first round of the playoffs?
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I don't have a problem with burning a crackhouse down...

... but it is frustrating to see everyone blossom elsewhere

Exactly- that was the funny part of the article. He still can't win ballgames.

LOL. I have done that before.

Totally agree. Walsh tried to play the waiting game hoping something better would come along and when it didn't, he made a panic move. If he gets Lebron and Bosh, all will be forgiven. If he doesn't, then I think we have to fire walsh.

Trust the Process

Okay, but let's say we brought them all back.

What do we get? A crackhouse again. Know what I mean?

This is why I say good for them doing well elsewhere. They didn't do well here.
