When Shaq came to Phoenix and became bigger than MDA that was last straw
More and more I dont care for this guy
we'll see how it pans out. I Want to get J.Johnson but PLEASE not as a #1
Its Lebron or bust
Wade or bust
if you cant then next season you get someone bigger than J.Johnson
Knicks arent goint to do anything to please anyone on this board as long as MDA is coach
Write it down!
You dont like MDA, thats fine. But statements like the one I bolded makes no sense....To say MDA wouldn't take Lebron or Wade on his team makes no sense......
This is what it's come to for some of us that have a dislike for MDA. Just blame him if we don't get Lebron. It has nothing to do with Lebron being in a great situation on his home state team. Can't be anything else but MDA's ego. MDA will reject Lebron if he wants to come here cuz he can't take having a star that's bigger than him. What the heck was Mr. MVP Nash? He seemed to love Nash.
Anyway, back to the thread. I don't think that DW is gonna look to put together a lame roster after all of this waiting and trading away of assets. For one thing if he did decide to add JJ3 and keep Lee, that is a lower cost option than say Bosh and JJ3. That would allow him to go after a shotblocker like Camby, Tyson Chandler or maybe a guy like Mehmet Okur. Still not the sexy lineup that most fans were hoping for, but it's far better than what we have now.
The one thing that should bother anyone is the asking price of JJ3. He strikes me as a guy that will insist on the Max and it's hard to make a case for paying him that much. He's just not a guy that consistently takes over and wills his team to wins at the end of games. He's your prototypical middle of the game star. He in essence can pad his stats in the middle of games, but when the focus is solely on him at the end of games he's not really creative or explosive enough to take charge. TMac on one leg is more of a late game threat IMO.
