can you produce a chart on this stuff or some kind of equation to prove your point?

Why am I the only one here required to have charts to back up each of my posts?

https:// It's not so hard.

Gallo hasn't been getting embarrassed on D. He's actually proven to be one of our better defenders and he's somewhat reliable IMO. Any guy his size is gonna be at a disadvantage on the perimeter, that doesn't mean he's a bad defender.
In fact it's not like teams are constantly attacking him due to his poor D. Aside from the a guy like Manu, who would kill anyone when he's hot. It hasn't really been a case of any of us here saying "God Gallo is killing us with his poor D". That should tell you that he's not a bad defender.

Gallo moves his feet and has taken charges on the move. He get's steals and blocks. How is he a bad defender due to some perceived physical limitations?

Gallo has heart and confidence since day one. He thinks like a winner and understands the game well. He has surprised me this year at times, defending pretty tough players well one on one. He has also been made to look foolish plenty of times.

I agree that there's tweener aspect to him that puts him in tough matchups sometimes. But it's the NBA. Happens all the time.

I always saw him as mentally tough. Wants the shot and hits, often in crunch time or at a critical moment. Hasn't been aggressive enough, demanding the ball.

A month or so ago I would have said no doubt, he will develop into a second tier star eventually, barring injury etc. But he has wilted lately, looking timid even. So we'll see. I do believe the potential upside is very big, but in no way guaranteed.

Hahn's columns seem to reflect more of a company line tone in my opinion recently. I am glad that Gallo is interested in becoming a better defender. He needs to work with one of the assistants before and after practice if he truly wants to improve.

Gallo wants to be a lot of things.

Can't wait for his actions to catch up to his statements.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Yea like the onewhen Gallup said "I'll win the 3 pt shoot out no problem"

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
