Even MDA noticed Douglas. Maybe he will finally play him more.

Douglas' play made an impression on D'Antoni, who left him in to run the team through the last few minutes of the fourth quarter.

"He plays intense. He plays well," D'Antoni said. "He brings some defensive stuff in and hopefully he can learn and get better at it and not take too many gambles.

"He definitely brought the necessary energy, which was good."

It's been an up-and-down season for Douglas. After playing in 14 of the Knicks' first 15 games, his playing time dropped significantly. And he's gone through multiple stretches where he hasn't played in several games at a time. But Douglas said the time he's spent on the bench hasn't been wasted.

"I've learned a lot. I can honestly say, not playing, I've become a better student of the game on the bench," Douglas said. "Watching the veterans out there, watching the other teams, watching the whole NBA, being a student of the game, watching film, knowing what I need to work on and what I can do to get better.

I did not get a chance to watch the game last night but I watching it now in the encore. I see Gallo had 27pts early in 4th and then TD came in. Gallo does not get the ball again. Sergio was looking for him but TD I think is infected by Dudu.

TD needs to understand that if you have a hot hand, you need to keep going to him.

He left JC open on countless possesions, and even though JC leads the league in 4 point plays, it's still one of the dumbest fouls to commit, so don't get misled by his frantic energy on D, cause he still has a long way to go.

...And the only way for him to get there is by playing, pure and simple.
