I was ready to do this but they wanted a credit card number for a "free" membership. I didn't feel comfortable with that...Are you a member? Any problems with this Megaload? I remember watching that game against UNC last year - best team in America and Vasquez was awesome... I gotta try an get my ESPN360 back up and running. I don't know what the hell happened - it's not working anymore and is causing my Firefox to crash (I had too many problems with IE8 and had to scrap it -- I like Firefox much better). I might need to reinstall the pull-in that site requires again...Thanks again bud. |

I'm now using Google Chrome and couldn't be happier as for Megaupload/megavideo, I watched pretty much each episode of The Wire through the site and the streaming is AWESOME DLeethal wrote:

I would've done it but they asked for my credit card -- it's supposed to be free right? What do they need a credit card # for? Sid, Supreme...if you guys use it I'm sure it's good but I'm always a little leery about giving the credit card number out for stuff like this...Maybe I'm crazy... |

I've never given any credit card info... there's a link to stream the video on those links... do that. They might ask for the credit card info if you are downloading the file, because there's a free service and premium. Maybe that's a way to trick you into the paid service or something. Anyway, look for the link to stream. There's a limit, once you hit the limit, there's like 54 minute period or something where you can't watch more DLeethal wrote:

/me suspects Landesburg comes out...suspended of lack of academic progress.
Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans
"The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

Olbrannon wrote:/me suspects Landesburg comes out...suspended of lack of academic progress. Good point Olbrannon. I was thinking the same thing when I read about this a few hours ago.. I was shocked - I had no idea he was having problems. Never heard anything about it all season... Sounds like college and going to class just isn't for him (maybe I shouldn't even say that - I'm just assuming, who knows what really happened - the article I read was very vague). Virginia just lost about 8 in a row, won't be going to the Tournament and Landesberg's been hurt since Feb. 24, trying to play on a bum thigh (swollen thigh). I've seen a couple of games during Virginia's losing streak including a bad loss recently at BC, the last game he played in. Landesberg hasn't been himself at all for awhile now and he's the main reason his team has suffered. Like most teams with that one big star, as he goes, the team goes...If this suspension leaves a bad taste in his mouth and he doesn't wish to go back to school, he really might look to go pro now... Some suspension too huh? He misses only the last game - Tony Bennett had to have known he was having problems academically for some time now - I hope every effort was made to get the kid the proper help -- tutors, extra help, whatever..Now Bennett decides to suspend him, with one game to go? Strange... If this were my kid I'd tell him to go back to school and not to leave on such a bad note, plus that's how I'd feel myself but who knows where Sylven's mind is at now. Suspending your star player with one game to go after the kid's been trying to play hurt since last month, I don't know man, policies are policies I suppose, but I wonder if they needed to embarrass him this way -- you wonder if the damage is done now between Landesberg, the coach and that Cavalier program. Maybe he's all about going to make the money now... This might benefit the Knicks for a few reasons: (1) I feel he's a bigtime player but his team hasn't won this year (not solely his fault imo, in fact he's the team's biggest bright spot by far, but people may look at the situation differently because his team hasn't excelled, esp. down the stretch. Team success is always a big part of the evaluation process - hopefully this holds true and winds up working to our advantage) If he decides to go pro full tilt, he may slip for these reasons (gun to my head though, I'd have to say he'll go pretty high even with this controversy - somebody out there has to know how good he is). Tell you all what, if we can acquire a 1st rounder & he's available late, this kid automatically becomes my #1 target provided he's within reach. I think not before long he'll prove to be an elite-level scorer at the 2 position in the NBA, sooner than later in fact, along with showing he has budding ability to contribute in other areas as well. We'll see what happens -- I hope the Knicks are monitoring the situation. I just pray at least 1 person associated with our scouting department or 1 person close to Donnie Walsh knows who the kid is and what he's capable of. However high a 1st rounder we can hopefully get, I'd guarantee it to Landesberg w/o even thinking twice about it. I wouldn't even need to bring him in for a workout... |
