There's more to it than that...I can't help remembering some of the calls out of time outs...like the whole thing with Nate with seconds on the clock and Nate dropping the f-bomb on him. And then there's last night....if your a 'coaching genius' you gotta be able to pull off some of those close games. You can be a 'system guy' all you want and cry about not having 'your type of guys' but you are not going to blow everybody away every game. And from what little I have seen and I admit it is a limited sample. I've seen absolutely nothing that makes me want him as my coach with 5 seconds and we need a basket to win. The irony is Walsh and D'Antoni traded for him because, they said he can face up the basket and knocked down a J. |

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I caught part of the Rocket game last night, and the announcers were all excited about Jefferies - and that fact that the Rockets hadn't had a big man with his size in a while.
I still think he could've been traded without the sacrifice of 3 draft picks, and I suspect the only reason we had to include them was Walsh wanted to dump salary and get better this year as well - its been his MO throughout his time here. |

I got so angry when Clyde said, "We miss Jeffries right now..." during the Thunder game. Jared Jeffries was total garbage.

He was a solid and versatile defender, no matter how frustrating he was to watch on offense, and you know that Frazier, who just might have a better grasp of the game than some of us, was talking about his defensive presence. The guy had one of the better =/- numbers on the team, if I remember correctly. We had to get rid of his contract, and it is upsetting to me that we had to give up Hill and a #1 to get him, but people are always looking at what he could not do as a player and don't give him enough credit for the other things he did on the court. I can't stand listening to Frasier. I would take back Darko, Fishlips, and even Phuckbury right now if Clyde would agree to retire from broadcasting (/s). Great Knick, but his droll presentation is shyte.

Gotta read the whole thread, kiddo, before foolishly calling someone out. But, that's what you do, isn't it. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!
