Clearly his knee was hurting because that would be the only explaination for why MDA did not put him back in the game sooner when we really needed him. He should wear a knee brace to give his knee more support and MDA should limit him to 30 minutes a game. But he did look good. I would love to resign him if he were willing to take the vet minimum for 1 year. If he holds up for that year, we can promise to give him a 3-4 yr deal at around $6-$7 mill the following year, which should cover the rest of his career.

op, i must say your hate for T-Mac is very childish. insulting the guy after he just made a comeback form major surgery and scored 26 pts is very childish. not sure what your agenda is.

I hope guys like lebron never read messages like this. then they'd never want to play for this fanbase.

GKF, seriously, you don't know what you're talking about.

I didn't insult him in this thread at all.

And your LeBron comment is terrible. Did you not see how electric the Garden was tonight? You don't think LeBron would want this fanbase to cheer like that?

The only negative is you, like during the entire trade deadline telling everyone no trade was going to happen and Walsh is an old man, etc. You, Optimus, and Bluest need to go have a three way and get it over with instead of coming here and triple teaming up on everyone with your asinine comments.

calling him "t-brick" is not insulting him?

He bricked two FTs, one of which could have sealed the game. So he's T-BRICK.

Big f'in deal.

Sensitivity of some around here is astounding. You'd shove your own mother into traffic to rush and protect TMac.

Getting pretty lame.

Yeah, you, you rushed to Isiah's defense yesterday when nobody was even doing anything more than talking about the PTI segment. Now you're bowling over old grannies to get in my face over calling TMac TBrick after he bricked what would have been game winning FTs.

You're the one that needs to "Fall Back" gangsta man. Stop getting your panties in a wad anytime someone criticizes a player. Besides, if it was Lee or Gallo or Darko I was making fun of you wouldn't even be here. You're two faced like that.

Hey, at least we can all now stop focusing on Gallo's back and focus on T-Mac's knee for the rest of the season. It is nice to have something new to worry about.

He is going to sitting on the bench with ice packs on those knees. It is too be expected.

If he can fill the Grant Hill role for us for the next 3 years I will more than happy.

Aight! Is there no chance of seeing that our rent SG has hit the last shot of the quarter twice this game, or that our rent PG penetrated and dished nice passes everytime he was in? Sure, TMac bricked those FTs, Sergio had a couple of TOs, but you know what: It was nice to see that there really could be a improvement with different players beeing here in the future...

But hey: This is the Knicks, and you just get used to pessimism after a decade of ****...

Not really though.

At least we're not Blazers fans. That's gotta hurt. (pun intended)

that's good news... usually i get sore on the 2nd day after a workout tho, that's when the stiffness in the tendons sets in with a vengeance... hopefully T-Mac is good to go tomorrow night in the back to back game... then we'll really know where he's at physically.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Limping along here in the 4th versus the Bucks though.

Eh...well...whatever I guess. All about the cap space. Anything he could give us in the meantime was a bonus.

Support is not the issue. The issue is cushion in the knee. I saw McGrady limping again tonight. This does not get better, it gets worse as one's knee takes more and more pounding. The enemy is the treacherous NBA schedule.

I think McGrady will be able to play, and he is very skilled so he can do some nice things, and I think he will get a new contract, but he is clearly diminished and will not be able to play anywhere near the way he used to in terms of athleticism.

He will probably have to sit out games because of the soreness that will accumulate in his knee. This is just the truth of what a microfracture does in a player who ahs it done in his late 20's early 30's, especially one who relies on rising up like McGRady.

Jason Kidd is the Uber-exception. Amare Stoudemire was smart to do it when he was very young and his body still had the ability to create cartilage (And he still does not fly like he used to). Zach Randolph can play with no knees.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

At what age does a person lose the ability to create cartilage?

You're absolutely right man.

This guy is used to just raising up over defenders to get his shot off. I think he could be solid if he's limited to 20 minutes a night. However, I dont see him resigning. He seem frustrated tonight with our sucky play. It is almost as if he is auditioning for a playoff team.
