Is he allowed to do that now? I remember when Chauncey Billups got sent to Denver, he couldn't get his old #1 right away (JR Smith had it) so he got #7 and switched to #1 in the offseason.

I think the league rule is you can change your # after 4 years of having your current number.

Now, whether or not that applies to "4 years of the same number ON THE SAME TEAM"

I simply don't know.

But, TMac will either be #3, or, if whatever it was I read that I cant find again, he will be #1.

Doesn't really matter much though does it.

You can change #'s when your traded.

In this case, McGrady will stick to # 3.

5 new players, 5 new number's: Giddens (4), House (50), McGrady (3), Rodriguez (13) & Walker (5)

That's gangsta to you? Where did you grow up?

Relatively speaking, he's the most. Is that better?

Chandler should really stop hanging out with Juelz Santana. He looks like a fool.

Is House gonna "Get Caught Up In Life?" because he was told he was "A Bum" not long ago and a lot of Knick Fans co-signed it.

He is a bum. But now he's our bum.

He also fits the scheme of things better here. Just sit there and hit your shots. Don't come in trying to alienate the entire team and go 1-1 like you're top dog.

Eddie House is a career 39.4% from 3 pt. range... he's not a bum, dude can shoot the rock... he's a role player that excels in the role he's given, which is to come out & provide an outside shooting threat for 15-18 minutes a night... if we start using him for 35+ a night like we tried to use Fishlips, then he will get exposed, but if we use him the way he should be used, he'll do just fine for us... MDA already had him w/the Suns so i expect he knows what this guy can do... he averaged 9.8 pts in 17.5 minutes that year & shot 39% from beyond the arc which is not bad at all.

If he's a bum, then he's a bum that has played on nothing but good teams, and those good teams relied on him to perform his role well, which he did. He's also a bum with nice bling around his finger, that he recieved about two years ago. He performed very well (I remember that very well) to earn that sexy looking ring.

I don't really care if he's on the team or not now, but if we were close to contending, I'd LOVE to have the guy on our bench. And yes, I like his fire and trash talking.

Yep, good points.

Anyone else just a bit interested about tonight? I hope these guys play.

Serg & House should see a good amount of minutes, but i doubt Bill Walker will see much action... now that we're so small up front i bet Bender gets a big chunk of minutes too... God help us.

Oh I know I always felt House definitely could play a resourceful role no matter what team he was on. When this was said about him Knick fans lapped it up though and actually backed Marbury. Now that he's our it's time to "SWITCH IT UP" and lust him. Our fan base is funny

yeah chalk it up to the hometown bias for those fans... everyone's a bum until they become a Knick then they're awesome... or u have the grass is always greener type fans on the opposite end of the spectrum who think anyone we have is crap & anyone playing on other teams is God's gift to humankind... definitely agree our fanbase is very funny.

Should be interesting Durantuala vs. T-Mac. My prediction the young buck retires the old one.
