Don't forget who is coaching the team. Talent,success, the big picture, play much less of a role in D'Antoni's rotation than his comfort level with certain players. Duhon is definitely one of those players.
according to howard beck's twitter, sergio will be starting as soon as he gets settled here.
I hope this happens. It makes sense but it does not go along with how the rotation has been handled this year.
No matter what MDA does in the 1st few games, make no mistake we've crossed a major threshold. We are now solidly into the rebuild. It's already started and will of course continue in July, but right now we have a completely new focus and set of priorities player wise. Since Hill is gone that ends the whole play the kids thing, cuz TD is really more of a summer project. He's not a natural PG and it takes natural PG's time to master the NBA game, so he's not gonna magically get it just cuz we play him more. It's time to forget everything pre trade deadline and get off MDA's back, cuz this is the next stage of this teams reformation.
