i think that's fair to say, tho i wouldn't want Rudy Gay for no $14 mil... for the money i'd probably rather just re-sign D Lee to a $12 mil per contract than signing Amare to the max, but that all depends on whether Lebron would come to the Knicks w/o another max type FA to play with... hell, if Lebron wants us to sign Chris Duhon to a MLE for him to come here, then that's what u gotta do.
