The inner frustration he feels by not being able to compete and contribute to the team makes him feel caged. He feels his lack of playing time is unfair and he's not being quiet about it.
Now whether you feel he deserves playing time is debatable, but I can see where he's coming from in a pride standpoint.
But will you agree that it is groundless, and his stating so undermines the authority of his coach, detract from his team's morale, and all for something that he has determined that he is entitled to, and has not earned?
I feel you in some respects, but I dont know if I can go all the way with his grumblings being groundless. He was playing decent ball early in the season and its not like he's got Kobe and Durant ahead of him on the depth chart.
I think D'Antoni is doing more harm than good by embarrassing veterans like this...He's making it a habit.
The last time I saw Larry play, he had difficulty bringing the ball up against pressure, had no shot and his defense was spotty, being very generous. When he was a regular, after his injury, hiss shot selection was poor, and his connect rate was worst. Can we not expect a 13 mil guard to be able to distibute the ball effectively, or be able to penetrate and score? And please don't let him off the hook with that tired, not enough play time excuse. You've got to go with the guys who produce.
