You're missing the point
AI was a rental for 2- 4 months.
Knicks was at most a longshot in Nov. season start to even sniff the playoffs
Old and weary AI is BETTER Than Duhon. End of story.
a rental. MDA and his boss needed to put their differences aside and speak with AI again
before giving the Knick public notion they didnt want him OR he'd ruin their rookies development? what crap !
The other AI in Philly never got rookie railroaded when he played as a youth in Sixerland and when AIverson left
Andre I. touted as a start hasnt picked up the sixers fortune too much. He had one decent season I think when 76ers
last made playoff run and sixers hasnt gone far even with Andre's development.
GARDEN needs some juice since there are 1/2 Knicks roster whom want to ball and other half roster are as marshmello soft
as you come when things ain't going their way. I dont like that is why I'd give up Duhon, Larry Hughes beard & 1million bucks
to have AIverson playing for few months as a Knick.
AI can get his points, create and still pass 6 - 9 assists to likes of Chandler, Lee and Gallo. Throw in Harrington when his shot is falling.
That is a decent upgrade over the sluggish Duhon whom can't wait to be substituted for since he cant take boos and cant handle NY anymore
cause when Duhon shot isn't falling he's as dead as a flat tire on a bicycle.
Flat tire on bike works better than Duhon. You have to have guts to play in NY. AI is old and could have played at MSG for few months
may have driven D'Antoni bonkers but believe you me he won't disappear the way you see Chris 'soft' Duhon does with all the minutes Duhon got.
