What killed David Lee was 18-26 and losing by 50.

This really is disgraceful of the coaches. It's not Lee's fault we are playing with one of the worst starting point guards in the entire league. The celtics are garbage without garnett a team lucky to play .500 ball and you're telling me Rondo and Pierce deserve spots because of it. Frankly the guy is tourching centers in the east and putting up the best numbers in the conference outside of howard.

All politics all the time.

Come on now. Rajon Rondo is averaging almost 10 assists and 2+ steals and Paul Pierce is a former Finals MVP averaging 19, 5, 4 and shooting 47% from three for the second best team in the East. Sorry guys but winning, past history and defense DO count. Now if a player who is having a bad year/average year like Shaq makes it, you might have a right to be upset. But if David Lee, who plays no defense and plays on a team that is 18-26 in a bad conference, doesn't make it over Rondo and Pierce, you are wrong.

btw, it's possible they just make bosh the backup center for the team and just take more forwards/guards. so shaq, noah, lee, horford or bogut don't make it.

Rondo if fine. But if you're going to be a .500 team without Garnett and then you shouldn't have two All-Stars from the bunch. Being a Finals MVP is irrelevant. That doesn't mean anything when making a selection

David Lee 19.4 pts 11.4rbs 3.4ass 55.4%
Paul Pierce 18.9 pts 4.8rbs 3.6ass 47.5%

I think the case is made. Lee deserved the spot before Paul Pierce

And I am not wrong. You take a reserve at everyone position.

.500 is still better than 18-26. Boston also didn't lose by 50 at home. And Paul Pierce plays defense. Sorry, I know you like David Lee, but I cannot agree with you. I actually had Lee making it as the backup Center over Al Holford because I don't think Atlanta deserved 3 All-Stars (I had Josh Smith making it). But if the coaches decided Holford, who's team is 29-15, over Lee, I have no problem with it.

Listen if you have Ray Allen, Perkins, Rondo, Garnett, Rasheed Wallace you should be over .500. The Knicks have one of the worst point guards in the NBA. Rondo is worthy everyone knows that. If you put him on this team we are above .500 and Lee is an All Star. You put the most deserving people at each position. It's not Lee's fault we are losing.

Lebron signs endorsement deal with Mcdonalds for millions today

Lee signs a deal with Eddie's pizza for a free sub

What exactly will NY do for Lebron again other than giving him a place to chase his mother around.

I wonder how many players in history who haven't missed a big chunk of time didn't make the all star team averaging at least 19 pts and 11 rebs.

Zach Randolph has put up similar numbers for years and missed the all-star game until this season.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!
