Jordan Hill is a strong kid... the fact that he played against undersized competition at ARI doesn't mean much... i've seen him defend Andrew Bynum & Pau Gasol very effectively in the low post both times they played the Lakers this season... he uses his length & springy legs to disrupt their shots very effectively & doesn't get pushed around in the low post like Jeffries does... all the Mikki Moore comparisons on Jordan Hill before people even saw him play this year still make me chuckle... in the East, Jordan Hill will do just fine as a starting C... he's a physical player down low, not a finesse guy.

as to the topic of the thread, i thought Duhon played well last night actually... his J wasn't falling but he was playing good defense all night & did an admirable job on Kobe Bryant, which isn't the easiest of things to do... he kept active all night on the floor & didn't shut down after some missed shots like he would do earlier in the season... didn't turn the ball over & made some nice passes... that slick bounce pass to D Lee on the fastbreak through a couple defenders in pursuit was a thing of beauty.

And generally it's not what you think, it's what the GM and coach think and where they will play him. And that is at C.

I understand why they drafted Hill. I saw him play at Arizona and he muscles weaker competition but got destroyed by the likes of Earl Clark, who isnt all that strong by the way. I don't see Hill adding much mass to his frame to be able to handle real centers on the nightly basis. I recall Hill's bench count being pretty pathetic at the combine too. Guys like Al Horford already had that big body build in college with the strength to match. Jordan Hill can develop into a solid PF but trying to make him a center is a setup for failure.

Jennings didnt look that great in Europe and Steph Curry was off the board. Jordan Hill was the safe pick. We all know if you cant shoot well D'Antoni wants no part of you.

I watched that game Vs louisville.. the whole zona team got destroyed, but hill was going up against a big and talented front line.. but on the flipside, Hill destroyed cole aldrich.. a guy who is projected as a top 5 pick this year....

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF
