Yea, cold towards Curry when he's down (again). I'm a touchy-feely wimp like that. But I know that's largely irrelevant here.

I hear you and I would be inclined to agree with you if this were his 2nd, 3rd, even 4th opportunity. But it's his 74th over his career.

How do you get hurt sitting on the bench? Curry is hopeless.

Thanks, Isiah. Again. and again, and again, and again, and again.

Seriously, are we sure Isiah is out of the sphere of criminal charges?? We talk about Arenas and a few unloaded guns, but what about the massacre of an entire franchise??

I wonder if Donnie Walsh uses an Isiah poster as a dartboard.

A dartboard?? I wonder if he has a lifetime supply of Isiah cardboard cutouts that he unloads a clip in every morning as soon as he wakes up.

Time to recoup about 3M off of our 2010-2011 cap space. Eddy wanted 8M to start last year up front - we gave him 2M (apparently this is not an uncommon practice).

So you know what? You offer him 8M(2011) + whatever we still owe him from here on out - and then you dump him. He WILL take it. You wave what... 13.5M in front of fatty's face? He will take it and run!

GET IT DONE. Enough already.

Unless we really think his 11.5M will be of incredible worth come February 2011....... which I doubt.

If you had a gun and just one bullet in it would you shoot Isiah, Eddy or Jimbo?

Me? I would line up and hope it goes clean through!!

The surgery doesn't seem major- and it seems like if he was playing, he'd put this off until the end of the season.

If curry drop dead of a heart condition, then I can blame thomas, but everything Curry has done since he got here has been self inflicted. No one can say curry did not have the potential to be a star in this league when thomas aquired him. He may have given him a few extra $ but you can say that about more then half the league. I can't see how anyone could have predicted such a flop.

the fact that the bulls gave up on him and he had been under-achieving in chitown isnt enough? his coach thinking he didnt work hard enough in chitown? the warning signs were there

His work ethic was a little bit of a concern, but it was the heart condition that had him on the shelf.

i think the heart thing was the final excuse to offload him. my view: they were tired of him and wanted out of dealing with him. i think it was clear skiles hated him...

Reporter: "Scott, what do you think Eddy can do to improve his rebounding?"
Skiles: "Jump"

I agree that the heart thing was the straw that broke the camel's back. In retrospect, Curry was out of their plans long before his condition surfaced and this was because of his overall work-ethic, discipline, whatever you want to call it. The Skiles quote, I mean, you know? Wow.

wonder if he was looking to get into a game so he could justify the surgery? who knows.

Some extra dollars... and some unprotected 1st rounders....
If Isiah did this because he stuppid I would be cool with it, but Snake-man did all this only because of his hate to NYC, Knicks, and Knicks fans.
He will defenatelly burn in hell and I hope this is already started while he is alive.

Curry's expiring next year has value in a trade; end of day, you decide whether that is worth more than the potential $2-$3M you might get on next years' cap. Wait-and-see the best approach right now.
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

I don't understand, Bostic, how is it only 2-3m more on next years' cap?
